Animal Kingdom doesn't have a lot of characters you can meet, but you may SEE some really unique characters like:

Pocahontas
Dug and Russell
Timon and Rafiki
Launchpad McQuack and Scrooge
Moana

🤗 A few bonus mistakes:

⚠️ Not budgeting enough for fun snacks and souvenirs (they can get expensive).

⚠️ Not realizing how long it takes to hop from park to park (if you have a park hopper ticket)

⚠️ Not planning for how hot the summer months in Florida are, and how often it rains.

⚠️ How large the resort (hotel) properties are, and how long it takes to walk from your room to the resort pool, dining, and transportation.

⚠️ Not having a plan for how you'll spend your days.

🙋‍♀️ If you book with a Disney planner like me, I get paid a commission after you travel.

👩‍💻 If you book directly with Disney, they keep the commission.

Annndddd....if you book directly with Disney, they won't walk you through all of the basics like I do.  Booking with Disney directly is a TRANSACTION. 

They won't help you with:

Finding Starbucks inside the Disney parks can be a little tricky. They aren’t well marked, and most families walk right by, not even knowing they are there.

Use this as your cheat sheet when you go, and you’ll look like a pro!
 
Oh, also! The Disney parks Starbucks usually offers exclusive Disney-themed merchandise, souvenir mugs, and tumblers. So, prepare yourself. 😍

There is a lot of free planning advice out there, and honestly, a lot of free Disney vacation planners, too. 

But, not all free planners provide VALUE. 

Not all free planners have extensive EXPERIENCE. 

Not all free planners *really* understand how it feels to be new to Disney.

A few things that set me apart from other planners:

✨️I have been visiting Disney Parks for over 40 years.

Dining plans FINALLY return to Disney World on January 9, 2024, and the biggest question of all is...

"Are the dining plans worth it?"

The bottom line...YES!

There are two schools of thought on WHY it's worth adding the dining plan to your vacation package, and here they are:

1️⃣ It saves you money.  

While I do believe that you *can* save some money, I leave that analysis to the Disney bloggers who devote all their time to researching the best ways to spend credits to make the dining plan a money-saver. 

2️⃣ It allows you to budget for your food before you get there.

Imagine showing up to Disney having *already* paid for the majority of your meals and snacks... yes, please!

Oh, and another question I get often is "Does Disneyland have dining plans, too?"

Unfortunately, no. Dining plans are only available at Disney World.

🚨 Not all Disney vacation planners are created equal, and not all are F R E E. 

Some Disney planners advertise that their services are free, but when you look closer, they charge additional fees for some services.

🙋‍♀️ Not me. It's literally ALL free.

And, some planners plan Disney as a hobby or on the weekends. 

🙋‍♀️ Not me. Planning Disney is my full-time love. It's my love and passion, and my families can feel this when we plan together.
