Disneyland has a couple of special holiday treats that we don’t see on the East Coast, such as Mickey Gingerbread and hand-pulled candy canes. Gingerbread is fairly easy to get your hands on, but the candy canes require a little pre-planning. ⁠

They are only available in one park at a time and only on certain days during the holiday season. You can find them at Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen in Disneyland Park on November 29, December 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24.⁠

Candy canes will be sold at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure on November 30, December 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, and 25.⁠
⁠
They’ll be using a wristband or mobile wait list system, so be sure to arrive early and reserve your time to come back and pick up your candy canes. You can also pop into the shop throughout the day to see them being made. ⁠
Have you ever tried one? I missed the line during my last visit, so I guess I better plan to go back! ⁠

I cringe when I see people who have booked directly with Disney and then try to plan their trip on their own using Google and/or so-called "expert" or "smart" Facebook groups. I've been in those groups, and I'm here to tell you the amount of disinformation is alarming. And Google... don't get me started. And the nice folks on the other end of the Disney phone line? Some have never even visited the parks and work for a third-party company.
Why on earth would you book direct when you can book with me for the exact same price? Disney builds in travel planner commissions whether you use us or not. So when you book with me Disney pays me, not you. And Google, facebook groups, and the Disney 800 number will not monitor your reservation for future discounts.

With close to 2,000 trips planned under my wand I've been there, done that, or know exactly what trusted source inside and outside of Disney to ask for any questions that come up during the planning process.

Universal Studios Orlando's holiday offerings are out!!! I can't recommend the holiday tour enough! We did it a few years ago, and it was absolutely incredible. We met the Grinch and Santa, reserved seating for the holiday show, and ended up in an empty Hogsmeade watching the Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle. It's not too late to book your holiday trip to Universal!

Join the Spanish Mosaic Art session at Dahlia Lounge on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. In this guided session, skilled artisans help you create your own mosaic masterpiece. Choose from a variety of designs and colors to craft something truly unique. Sessions last about two hours, and you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of art to remember your Disney trip by.

You can even make reservations up to 60 days in advance on the My Disney Experience app, making adding this relaxing activity to your itinerary easy!
