BREAKING NEWS - Disney has announced that Grand Avenue at Disney's Hollywood Studios will begin a phased closing in May, with the last day to dine at Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano on May 10. Following that, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will close, with the last day to experience both locations on June 7.

I’m sad to see them go, but excited about what is coming in the future. What do you think?

Fresh off the inauguration, I thought I’d share five fun facts about the Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

1. The attraction features an animatronic figure of every U.S. president, from George Washington to today. Each figure is carefully designed with period-accurate attire, making it a celebration of history and technology.
2. Abraham Lincoln delivers the Gettysburg Address in the show. This tradition goes back to Disney’s original “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” at the 1964 New York World’s Fair, which inspired The Hall of Presidents.
3. Walt Disney himself envisioned The Hall of Presidents as a way to showcase American history. His original dream was a wax museum-style exhibit for Disneyland, but the creation of Audio-Animatronics allowed it to evolve into what we see today.
4. Modern presidents provide their own voices for the attraction! Starting with Bill Clinton in 1993, every sitting president since has recorded a short speech for their animatronic figure.
5. The Presidential Seal in the theater is one of only three official seals outside of the White House. Disney had to get special permission from Congress to include it in the attraction.

Early Park Entry (for those on-property Universal Orlando Hotel guests only) will include all 3 attractions in Super Nintendo World, plus Celestial Park's Stardust Racers rollercoaster.

Universal also dropped that Early Park Entry will kick off on May 23rd - Epic Universe's 2nd day of operation - so those opening day folks will just have to wait patiently, no Early Park Entry for them!
