One of 14 wood carvings around Vallecito Reservoir. Each carving unique and made to commemorate the Missionary Fire of 2002. This one is “Black Bear & Cubs” and was carved by the late David McGinnis from an actual photo during the fire. Come see the lake and visit these remarkable carvings.
