An unforgettable day discovering the best of Mostar! 🙌🏼

Here’s how we did it:

• Stari Most (Old Bridge) – Kicked off the day by marveling at the iconic Stari Most, a symbol of Mostar’s rich history and stunning Ottoman architecture. 🌉

• Blagaj – Wandered through the peaceful village of Blagaj, where we admired the crystal-clear waters of Buna Spring and explored the serene Dervish House (Tekke), nestled against the cliffside. 🌿

• Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque – Took in breathtaking panoramic views of Mostar from the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, capturing the city from above. ⛪
• Local Restaurants – Indulged in mouthwatering ćevapi, burek, and other Bosnian delicacies at cozy local spots, experiencing the flavors of the region. 🍽️

• Fortica – Finished the day with a scenic hike to Fortica, where we enjoyed sweeping views of the city and the surrounding landscape as the sun set. 🌅

A perfect mix of culture, history, and stunning landscapes in one incredible day!

📍STARI MOST - MOSTAR

In the heart of Mostar, you can’t miss the iconic Stari Most “Old Bridge.”

The bridge was built in the 1500s and stretches 24-meters above the Neretva River.

Jumping off the bridge is a tradition reserved for the bravest locals and skilled divers.

It also hosted the famous Red Bull Cliff Diving competition, where top divers from around the world show off their skills.

Depending on the weather and water levels in the river, you may be able to witness people bridge jumping during your visit!

SPOTLIGHT: MOSTAR

A walking tour is a must to understand this unique city in Herzegovina.

The air is fragrant with the aroma of cevapi, a delicious Bosnian kebab.

In the streets, you’ll see locals drinking their Bosnian coffee from the džezva, playing cards and laughing together.

With its enchanting mix of Ottoman and Mediterranean influences, it’s a snapshot of the past, alive with culture and filled with tales of unity.

Famed for its iconic Stari Most, don’t miss the tradition of bridge jumping, whereby a local will traverse the ancient stone bridge that arches gracefully over the emerald waters of the Neretva River and plunges into the cold water below.
