“Very responsive host, beautiful, well appointed house! Kitchen had everything we could need to cook with and store food when we weren’t eating out. The view of Mille Lacs can’t be beat. Loved all the indoor games and toys for when we weren’t out at the sandy beach. Kayaks were great. Overall, we couldn’t have picked a better rental. We even extended an eighth day - did I say our host was very responsive?”

“House was beautifully furnished and had fun amenities we enjoyed. The shower in the main bedroom was modern and relaxing. The basement games were fun, but wish we would’ve had a foosball! Having a garage to pull into was ideal since it was cold outside. Overall loved the house but the location isn’t easy with MN winter roads. We made the best of it and enjoyed the house and our trip. Thanks to the owners for having the house spotless and warm when we arrived!”

“We loved this place! It was perfect for three couples with two little kids. The home was well-stocked throughout the kitchen, bathrooms, common areas, and with toys, a high chair, a play set, etc., that catered to kids/families. We enjoyed time in the basement game room where we played foosball/shuffleboard, watched tv, and played board games. The open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen were beautiful with big windows showing off the lake. Loved that we were able to park in the garage! Really great value compared to similar homes in the area. We came in the middle of winter and would love to return to enjoy the summer.”

The Hideaway at Mille Lacs comfortably sleeps 6 people with 4 beds in 3 bedrooms, including this bedroom with its queen-sized bed and ensuite 3/4 bathroom.

Two nightstands, each with their own lamp, are located on either side of the bed. There’s a large closet with hangers along with a small dresser and a ceiling fan. A large window lets in that summer lake breeze and plenty of natural light too.

This is one of two bedrooms on the main level, and at the foot of the bed, a sliding barn door separates the bedroom from its private bathroom where a glass-doored shower is equipped with a ceiling-mounted rainfall shower head as well as a wall-mounted shower wand.
