Knowing your worth is a very personal thing and it really has nothing to do with anyone else. It’s your internal measure of how you value yourself REGARDLESS of what other people might think of you or say to you.

Knowing your worth is an insurance policy for your mental well-being and affects every aspect of your life.

Low confidence makes us doubt our abilities. It prevents us from setting ambitious goals and having the resolve to go after them. This all can lead to poor quality of life.

When you know your worth, you TRUST yourself and the decisions you make. You have more confidence, and you don’t question yourself, hence you can act quickly and seize opportunities as they happen.

Know your worth so that people treat you the way you deserve to be treated. This is especially important in our personal relationships but also applies to workplaces.

Stop settling.

I’m not saying it ALL starts with you because there are people out there that will never see you for who you are and will always treat you unfairly or plain wrong.

But here’s the thing… Self-worth is self-respect which leads to stronger self-esteem.

Your stronger self-respect and self-esteem will allow you to identify those who try to tear you down. You are then better equipped to deal with them, you know you don’t have to settle in this situation. That is because you know your true worth no matter what they try to make you believe. And that gives you CONFIDENCE.

This higher confidence level helps you leave a bad partner or a bad job, or any other place where you feel unappreciated… because YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER.

What if we could love differently.

I often get asked questions about relationships, so I thought I would spend a bit of time today to share my own perspectives that have been shaped and formed through both experience and through the teachings of gurus and sages in my journeys across India and the East.

What does it mean to truly love? Well let’s begin with what love is not.

Love is not attachment. Attachment is associating possession, self-worth and happiness with another person. This is what we have been conditioned to believe love is.

But if you look just a little bit deeper, you’ll see that at the root of the attachment is fear – fear of loss, fear of being alone, fear of abandonment.

And so what happens with attachment? If anything threatens the relationship, you will hold on even more tightly and your fear will grow. The more tightly you try to hold on, the deeper your fear will become – and ultimately the deeper your pain will be when that person is no longer there.

Attachment causes suffering.

Attachment says: “I love you, therefore you need to make me happy.”

Genuine love says: “I love you, therefore I want you to be happy. If that includes me, great. If it doesn’t include me, that is fine also - I just want your happiness.”

For most people, this is a far stretch from what they know and experience, and the implications of what this could mean is not a safe space for the ego. But have a look – how much more meaningful and profound could our relationships be if we all loved this way?

True love in its purest form is nurturing, expansive and unconditional. It needs nothing in return and requires nothing to exist.

When we enter into a relationship seeking fulfillment – even at an unconscious level – this sets us up for problems in the future. Nothing outside of yourself, including other people (and for some, especially other people), can make you whole or happy. No Cinderella and no Prince Charming will ever be the solution.

A new relationship often comes with a host of the individual’s personal projections and romanticized ideas and desires, which the new partner can and will never be able to sustain. We need to be wise enough to know the difference between the projection of our own ‘stuff’ vs. there being something wrong with the other person.

Making wrong creates stuck-ness in your world.

What if there is nothing wrong with the other person? What if you just needed to start loving differently?

The key to a fulfilling relationship is to come to the party having first fulfilled yourself. Having gone within, having fallen in love with who you are. Being whole with who you are, just as you are. The degree to which you truly love yourself, is to the degree to which you have true love to give!

Comparison is the thief of joy.

The person that matters is staring at you in the mirror.

Comparison is the thief of joy and an act of violence against your authentic self.

The ONLY person you should try to be better than is who you were yesterday.

We live in a society that has conditioned us to think we have to compete with everyone else for a better job, a nicer car, a bigger house, a higher salary, a better- no. Stop that.

Your only competition is staring back at you in the mirror. Set goals for YOURSELF and accomplish them for YOURSELF. Be grateful for all that you have and all that you are.

Above all, be unapologetic in your pursuit and expression of self-love. Do the things that make YOU happy and make your soul smile, regardless of what that may look like to others.

Only then will you find a happiness that cannot be taken away, one that sprouts from deep inside you and overflows.

Only then will you take your power back and become your own little fountain of happiness, brimming with love.

If happiness is the goal - and it should be - then adventures should be a top priority. Jobs may fill your pockets, but adventures fill your soul.

When was the last time you answered the call of the wild? Lost yourself in nature, disconnecting from civilization to tune in to your soul?

When was the last time you went someplace you've never been before?

The last time you saw another continent?

The last time your feet touched distant shores?

This planet and all its mysteries is yours to explore and discover.

Don't you think it’s about time you did?

Dare to DREAM…

What goes on in your inner world, reflects in your outer world

I am writing to you from a little coffee shop 100m away from the white beaches of Canggu, Bali. In 5 days time I would have started our next sensational ‘love’ adventure with eager Smiling Souls from around the world.

Of course thats not possible now. But my intention is still to take the next part of 2020 to the stars! Being in full action of my mission: to create a ripple effect of love across the globe – through each and every one of you.

At the age of about 34, when I began turning my mess into my message, I made the decision that for the rest of my life I would commit to being a student for life.

What I had realized, is that both the teacher and the student make a teaching - not just the teacher. Without the student there would not be a teaching.

To receive the lessons and answers I so seeked, I needed to become vulnerable, curious, and willing to open my heart and mind to new ideas; to break down my walls of conditioned beliefs.

Inner growth does not favour the rigid of mind!

I traveled the world and studied the teachings of great masters like Mooji, Papaji, Ram Das, Wayne Dyer, Robin Sharma and Dr Joe Dispenza.

So today, I’d like to share with you a so-called ‘life hack’ tool taken from the research of a master in consciousness and transformation, Dr. Joe Dispenza, I was privileged to attend the same chiropractor College as him in Atlanta Georgia, Life College.

This life hack has become a very powerful tool in my life and in my teachings on retreats, inspirational talks and with my one-on-one clients.

What Dr. Dispenza has demonstrated in his research, is that our brains do not discern the difference between the thoughts about an experience, and the experience itself.

We can make our thoughts so real that the brain changes to look like the event has already become a physical reality.

This can work against you or for you: in the case of someone who keeps reliving a past trauma in their head over and over again, the brain and body perceive it to be just as real as the day it actually happened. This person becomes stuck in a cycle of creating experiences of pain and suffering - both in their inner and outer worlds.

However, we are able to train ourselves to use this mechanism in a way that is immensely powerful in constructing a reality of our heart's desire.

Here’s an example: research subjects who mentally rehearsed one-handed piano exercises for two hours a day for five days (never actually touching any piano keys) demonstrated almost the same brain changes as people who physically performed the identical finger movements on a piano keyboard for the same length of time.

Not only can we change our brains just by thinking differently, but when we are truly focused and single-minded, the brain does not know the difference between the internal world of the mind and what we experience in the external environment.

This is a secret understood by athletes and top performers for centuries: they mentally rehearse stressful and high-stake events and situations in the future and visualize both their state of being and their performance in meticulous detail.

Now think to your own life. How could carefully crafted thoughts and imagery about a future event or situation – or even a vision for your life – be of profit for you?

How wildly would you dare to dream, if you knew for certain that what you hold onto in your mind eventually manifests in your outer reality?
