I USED TO BE AFRAID OF LOSING PEOPLE; NOW, I'M AFRAID OF LOSING MY PEACE.
There was a time when I was terrified of losing people—whether it was family, friends, or even colleagues. It felt like the world would fall apart if they were no longer part of my everyday life. I used to think that losing someone meant losing a part of myself, and it consumed me.
But as time passed, my perspective shifted. My greatest fear now isn’t losing people, but losing my peace. I’ve come to realize that true wealth isn’t measured by the number of people around you, but by your ability to maintain calmness in your mind and heart. When you have inner peace, nothing can truly stand in your way, no matter what challenges you face.
People are important in our lives, but what matters more is the respect and love we build for ourselves. You don’t have to sacrifice your inner peace just to keep others in your life. Learn to value your own happiness and tranquility, because in the end, only you can give peace to your own heart.
