I’m happy to announce that Maison Treme survived Hurricane Ida with nothing more than a really dirty pool. It’s still raining here but we’re all fixed up and ready to host your next escape to the Crescent City! Sadly, some of our neighbors to the west were not so lucky. If you would like to donate to relief efforts here are some worthy programs to support for the poor folks along the bayou and some Iggy and Tootsie approved animal relief orgs.

Founded in 1841 by free people of color who bought a large number of pews for enslaved people to worship alongside them during a time known as the “war of the pews”.
