Boat502 was created by local boaters who share a passion for boats, exploring the Ohio River and promoting the great local boating available right here in Louisville. If you’re already into boating on the river, Boat502 will be a place to engage with your local fellow boaters, share interesting stories and interact with marine service providers and boating-friendly destinations on the river. If yo
u’re new to boating or wanting to get into it, we hope Boat502 will help you learn more about the great boating available right here in our backyard. We started Boat502 with the goal of building an even better local boating community by helping connect local boaters with all that the area has to offer to make your days on the water even more enjoyable. But we’re also embarking on a bigger mission with Boat502 to improve the perception of the Ohio River. We want to see Louisville become premier, inland, boating destination with even more to offer local boaters and those passing through on the river. In short, we want to make boating in the 502 even better than it is today. And if that doesn’t work out, at least we'll have some fun talking about boats.
