I was picking up a simple Terracotta pot in Agway to add a plant to my patio garden this week before guests arrived. The sweet Tulip bulbs caught my attention and I daydreamed that I could plant some, but there are cute little critters in my neighborhood that would seek, find and devour them. My eyes then locked onto the more practical Daffodil bulbs and I thought, yes, I could plant those in a drift and they’re not palatable, so they would have a better chance of survival and being seen. A safe bet. Then I turned lovingly back towards towards rhe Tulips to bid them adieu, but instead found myself facing the very beautiful and elegant Red Mohican Allium bulbs. An Allium I’ve had on my list for years. They’re gorgeous, but pricey. Two bulbs to a bag tells it all. Expensive. Did that stop me? No. The Universe put them right in front of my face. It was meant to be. I got to the register ready to cringe at the total, but instead I was met with more validation. Half price. The Universe really delivered this week. 🌺
