We left Texas this morning for Tampa, Florida. We leave tomorrow on a 5-night cruise on the Margaritaville Islander. We're staying in historic Ybor City at the Hotel Maya which gave us an early check in so we could get lunch.
Lunch was at the oldest restaurant in Florida, Columbia Restaurant followed by a cigar & libations in Gigar City.

Yep, Buddha (Keith) and Buffy (Ilene) owners, advisors, and adventurers at Barnstormers Travel will be nibblin' on spongecake and watching the clouds break on Margaritaville at Sea's new ship, Islander.
The Islander started sailing out of the Port of Tampa last month and we jumped at the chance to go on a five-night cruise to Key West and Cozumel for 13 - 18 August (we'll cover both our birthdays and our 49th anniversary on this trip!).
Margaritaville at Sea hasn't been around long but the feedback we're getting on Islander is pretty good. We'll be staying in a Breezy Balcony Stateroom and can't wait to get some video and photos of everyone blowing out their flip-flops...hope they don't step on a pop top...do they still make those?
