The Sacred Valley of the Incas during our tour today. Rain or shine it’s always impressive. The snow capped mountains look a little more white after all this rain at high altitude, which makes temperatures a bit more brisk. Time to bundle up!

Hiking in the Apurimac Valley near Cusco. This is a deep canyon with immense mountains. The Geography (as for most of Peru) is awe inspiring.
The straight distance between local villages is relatively short, but driving from A to B takes much longer than we would expect. A very off the beaten path and full of pleasant surprises corner of Cusco.

The Hiram Bingham, the most luxurious train service on the way to MachuPiccchu. It is operated by Belmond and it boasts a meal on board, a live band in the observation car, all the drinks and great service. It’s a treat for once in a lifetime experience indeed.

It was an spectacular morning at Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca. The classic august weather allowed a lot of visibility to our fun loving family.
