Registration for the 2023 'Classic Hikes of the Smokies' monthly series is now open! These guided hikes are offered on the 2nd Tuesdays of the month, March thru December, and feature interpretation of the trail, history and updates on park projects supported by Friends of the Smokies. This series is a fundraiser for Trails Forever, a program supporting the restoration and rehabilitation of some of GSMNP's most impacted trails. It kicks off, March 14 with a hike to Jakes Creek to view Wildflowers and tour the Elkmont Historic District.
