Another one bites the dust! 2018 46’ Beneteau Gran Turismo from Stuart Florida to Marco Island Florida. Such a beautiful day and a great couple to travel with...oh and not one issue!!!

1400 Hours Friday Update - ALL BOATERS - USCG locking down OLD Roosevelt Bridge by 10:00AM tomorrow. If you are moving your boat to the west you MUST be done prior to the lockdown.

Also - if the winds exceed 45 miles an hour, sustained, FDOT will be closing the “new” Roosevelt Bridge to all traffic. This is due to not being able to man the checkpoints limiting truck traffic and for safety of personnel manning the bridge. The “old” Roosevelt Bridge will remain open to traffic.

Winds are expected to arrive starting late morning on Saturday with the worst of the storm happening Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
