We are looking forward to the 31st Annual Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival, January 15-16th, celebrating over 20,000 majestic Sandhill Cranes that stopover during their winter migration at the beautiful Hiwassee Refuge. This FREE, family friendly festival provides a chance to experience the call, which can be heard for over a mile, the dance between mates, the wingspan which stretches to six to seven feet and the view of this four-foot-tall bird, along with entertainment, vendors and children’s activities. Come join us at this premier birding event.
