We couldn’t have picked a better spot for a surprise birthday dinner than The Italian Kitchen in Port St. Joe. It came highly recommended, and wow, did it deliver! From the cozy atmosphere to the amazing food and attentive service, it was the perfect place to celebrate.
We brought our own wine and kicked things off with their Meatball Monday special—$2 meatballs that were delicious. They were tender and flavorful with a tangy red sauce. The meatball dish with the garlic bread appetizer even took it to the next level for the ultimate start of the meal.
The main dishes were just as impressive. Our group of six ordered a little of everything: Greek salad with chicken, gluten-free Chicken Alfredo with mushrooms, stuffed shells, spaghetti with sausage, lasagna, and Four Cheese Ravioli with blackened chicken. Every dish was fantastic and there was some generous sharing between our group of friends. The Italian Kitchen is also delivering out on the Cape which some of our group has taken advantage of quite a bit.
What really made the evening was the staff—they went out of their way to make everything seamless and special, turning a great dinner into an unforgettable celebration.
