Well went up to our favorite place in the world Ruth Lake, Ca yesterday and started the clean up process of our property on the lake after the fires. We of course had to take a break and go fishing and see what patterns are working for the amazing fall and winter trout fishing ahead and of course watch a few bald eagles feed. What a wonderful and beautiful place!!!!!

We battled thru the 30 mph wind for 2 hours on Ruth Lake today. With the wind battle today it brought a great reward with 14" to 19" Trout today. Our next trip we will switch gears and be targeting smallmouth bass.
