Took a few days to tour a brand new property. This is a beautiful location with amazing views. They offer World class golf and a full service spa. Amenities include a pool and hot tub with drink service and several sun beds, multiple restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining, complimentary e-bikes, and plenty of space to gather with family and friends. They currently offer complimentary cocktails between 5 and 7pm and shuttle service to the pro shop and course facilities. I was sad to leave!

I’m at 18,000 steps so far for the day and it is only 6pm. We tasted and drank our way around Krakow with a great guide..you know it’s gonna be a good tour when your guide brings you a shot to welcome you to Krakow. I watched Jeremy eat(and enjoy) ketchup..he has a strict no ketchup policy.Ate more cabbage in one day than I ever thought possible, saw a fire breathing dragon(it really breathes fire..you can feel the heat) and soaked up as much Polish hospitality as possible as our time here is so short.

We started the day with a very poignant tour and a history lesson about Hungary and its role in the extermination of their own people, during WWII and during the Soviet Occupation. There was an emphasis on the Righteous who selflessly helped save hundreds of thousands of Jews and that, to me, was deeply moving. From a Christian pastor who educated Jewish children so they could sing Christmas carols and pretend to be Christian, to a few who forged Swiss papers to Jewish families, to Tony Curtis, a Hungarian Jew, who founded a project to help restore the 2nd largest Synagogue in the world. His foundation continues in their Tree of Life project, and it provides resources to research and add names to this significant memorial, on the grounds of the Synagogue.

Amsterdam: Anne Frank House, food tour with bitterballen, Indonesian, stroopwaffle and herring. Managed the metro with 6 people and discovered Uber costs about the same as using the metro.🤣

Beautiful clear blue water and not a speck of seaweed anywhere. Sometimes, the best options are the ones in your own backyard.
Vernazza: one of the 5 ancient cliffside villages, located in Liguria, Italy. You can buy a pass that provides unlimited access to hiking trails and train travel between the villages. An absolute must when traveling to Italy.
Biking through Tuscany. Moderate terrain and bits of shade made this a pleasant day. Organically grown and eco friendly vineyards can be found through Tuscany. No real plan..just a gps and great company with a desire to find good wine and conversation.

The view from https://www.the-yeatman-hotel.com/en/ in Gaia, Portugal, just across the River from Porto. It’s a short walk, but very steep. It’s actually quicker to walk than taxi! It’s a beautiful day for an uphill stroll.
I’ve been a lot of places, but there is definitely something unique and special about the Douro Valley. The wine is good, but the people here are amazing.
Falkland, Fife Scotland. Famous filming location of Outlander. We made a stop here on our way from Isle of Skye to Saint Andrews. What an incredibly scenic and special day. Scotland has something new and beautiful to experience at every turn. We stopped into a local pub, full of locals drinking tea and pints, just chatting about life, with their dogs in tow. This is what I love about authentic travel. Nothing created here for tourists; just a little town in the middle of a little country. Meeting others from different walks of life, in their own environment and just observing. This is why I love travel.
