Wishing the "D" Family a magical adventure!🏰✨ Their family of 6 will be stretching out in a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Cars themed - their fave! This adventure will be Princess focused with a glam-up at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for the littlest adventurer and breakfast at Askershus Royal Banquet Hall for the entire family. They'll also enjoy sweet treats followed by VIP seating for the Magic Kingdom fireworks. It's been such a blast helping them plan their adventure and I'm excited for the amazing memories that they will be creating! 💖

We recently stayed at Port Orleans Riverside which is one of our favorite moderate resorts! It's located in the Disney Springs area and offers convenient boat service to/from Disney Springs.🚤 The theming is on point with Bayou and Mansion rooms that magically transport you to New Orleans. ✨ A large portion of the Bayou rooms offer a 5th sleeper which is great for families of 5. (like ours! although the 5th sleeper isn't recommended for kids older than 9) And the Royal rooms 👑have special touches inspired by Tiana and other Disney Royals, sumptious decor and special headboards with fiber-optic special effects. When it's time to dine - Port Orleans Riverside has a table-service restaurant, Boatwrights, that serves Cajun specialties and American fare as well as a food court called Riverside Mill that serves a selection of pastas, burgers, sandwiches, salads and some delicious pizza! 🍕 The resort is also just a quick 10 minute stroll to the Port Orleans French Quarter and those delicious Mickey Beignets. Yum! 😋 And, for those non-park days, there is Ol' Man Island plus 5 additional "quiet" pools located throughout the property. Can you see why this resort is on the top of my recommend list?

🗺️Our recent birthday celebration at Disney World! 🎉

✈️ Arrival day: landed in Orlando at 12:50pm, Uber to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, checked luggage and then grabbed a boat to Disney Springs. Enjoyed a late snack and beverage at Jock Lindsay's Hanger Bar followed by some retail therapy and ended the night with dinner at the Polite Pig🐷
🎂 Day 1: quick vist to S**t Cat's Club at Port Orleans-French Quarter for cappucinos ☕and beignets. Grabbed a bus 🚌 to Hollywood Studios and a skyliner🚠 to the International Gateway at Epcot. Made it for early park entry and headed straight to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Headed to Living with the Land which broke down so, after about an hour, we got the poor man's version of the "Behind the Seeds Tour".🌱 Came out to hubby's birthday surprise - our daughter and her boyfriend flew in from D.C. to spend the weekend with us. The rest of the day consisted of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, Soarin', Festival of the Art Booths with loads of delicious food and drinks and a birthday dinner at the Yachtsman at the Yacht & Beach Club.
🏨Day 2: Bus to Hollywood Studios, a Ronto Roaster for breakfast washed down with a Cold Brew Black Caf. Tower of Terror, Toy Story Midway Mania, Star Tours🌌, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway🧺 and then lunch at Roundup Rodeo BBQ. Back to the hotel for a nap and some pool time and then the last showing of Fantasmic! 🎆
🏰Day 3: Bus to Animal Kingdom for early entry. Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, Avatar Flight of Passage and then brunch at Tusker House. Early afternoon Safari and then back to the hotel for nap and pool time. All morning was spent stacking Lightning Lanes⚡for Magic Kingdom in the evening. We walked into the park at 5pm with 6 Lightning Lanes - Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 🚂, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Jungle Cruise🚤 and an Individual Lightning Lane for Tron.
🎢Day 4: the kids headed home and we waited out the early morning rain, heading to Epcot around 11am. Hit the usual suspects - Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Journey of Water and snagged a 1pm virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy. 🌌 Spent some more time walking the Festival of the Arts 🎨booths and then headed over to Hollywood Studios in the afternoon. Toy Story Midway Mania, Smugglers Run, Tower of Terror, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway 🧺followed by some retail therapy and then back to the hotel.
🪄Final day: early uber to Universal Studios where we spent the most of our time (and money) in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.🧙

Long story short - a great vacation!!

Wishing Lauren, her husband, their 3 little Prince/Jedis and her mom a magical adventure!🏰✨ They'll be returning to Disney's Art of Animation resort because they've found that the family suites fit their family perfectly and the boys love the Cars theming! 🏎️ Although they've been to Disney World a number of times, they'll be exploring EPCOT for the first time this trip and will be enjoying all of the art and food studios at the International Festival of the Arts. In addition, mom and dad are going to sneak away for some After Hours fun while Grandma and the kiddos spend some quality time exploring their resort. I'm confident that they're going to have the most amazing time and it's been such a pleasure helping this adorable family plan their adventure! 💖

The Disney Dining Plan is back! 🍽️✨ So...how do you use it to recieve the MAXimum benefits and value? I have two words for you "Character" "Dining". 🍔💖 While the heavy hitters like Cinderella's Royal Table🏰 and Artist's Point require 2 dining credits, there are loads of great options that are just a single credit. 🥞 I should note that this list is based on current information available on My Disney Experience so is subject to change.

🚠DISNEY SKYLINER CLOSED FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE🚠

The line between Pop Century, Art of Animation and Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed from January 16th - 21st. In addition, the line between Caribbean Beach Resort and Hollywood Studios will be closed.

The line between Caribbean Beach Resort, Riviera Resort and the EPCOT International Gateway will be closed from January 16th - January 27th.

Don't worry, though, you'll still be able to reach your destination! Disney will be providing bus service 🚌during the closure.

Wishing Laura, her husband and their two Princesses an amazing first time adventure to Disney World! 🏰👑 They arrive at Disney's Polynesian Resort today and will spend the next few days exploring the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. They're planning on spending some quality time with Cinderella and her Princess pals enjoying breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table in addition to riding ALL of the nostalgic Disney rides!
