😎We have upgraded our outdoor pool furniture for 2025! 😎We can’t wait for our guests to enjoy the double lounger day bed and lounge chairs around the pool. All furniture was custom made in Belize using local teak wood.
Behind the scenes at Ophelia’s Villa- we have continued to replace metal and plastic outdoor furniture over the last 4yrs. The tropical environment is very harsh! The wood lounge chairs will last much longer, add a touch of luxury to the villa, and is our guest commitment to impeccable property standards and amenities. Enjoy😊

We found a yummy Asian restaurant in Belize City. The Secret Garden Restaurant and Bar is a short walk from the Belize Express Water Taxi Terminal. We had pan fried wontons and wonton soup… so good! If you are planning to water taxi to San Pedro or Caye Caulker give yourself extra time and grab lunch here.

The beaches in Placencia have been showing off! We may be bias but Placencia has the best beaches in Belize AND you have easy access to so many tiny cayes making island hopping a breeze.

2025 refresh for the outdoor shower and we think it looks amazing. What do you think?

When we installed the outdoor shower almost 4 years ago we loved the idea of using bamboo. Over time the harsh tropical environment has made it challenging to keep it looking good.

🙌🏼🙌🏼Luti and Ida teamed up to remove the old bamboo, sand and stain the wood, and install on the existing frame 🙌🏼🙌🏼.

The waterfront outdoor shower has a tropical ambiance, hot & cold water, shower toiletries, and towels. We can’t wait for you to visit and enjoy this property amenity at Ophelia’s Villa.

Today is the last day of 2024.. lots of reflections of the year and years past. Our small family business has come a long way… this time 5 years ago construction progress on Ophelia’s Villa was starting to pick up. Our family was visiting Belize for the winter holiday and to do a construction check. It was not an easy visit due to Kevin recovering from knee surgery (crutches in the sad is no good) and I was pregnant with our 2nd child. Little did we know we would be experiencing a global pandemic a few months later and be “locked out” of the country until October 2020, when construction was complete. What an experience it was 5yrs ago and what a reflection to see our vision come to life over the years.

Thank you to each person that has been on this journey with us. From the family and friends cheering us on, to the individuals that have provided guidance and consultation on running a business in Belize, to each visitor that has trusted us with their vacation experience. Cheers to 2024 and we are ready for 2025.
