With all the items you will most likely need to be charging each night(watches, phones. tablets, even the new magic bands!), running out of outlets is never a good thing! Taking one cord you plug in but with multiple slots will free up outlets but can also help to make sure you know exactly where everything is each morning. 😀
Festivals anyone? 😀
While you can visit Walt Disney World any time of the year, taking into consideration what is happening at Epcot is always exciting! There are only a few weeks out of every year where there isn't a festival happening, so make sure to try and plan around when these are since it's included in your price of admission!

This is another important one especially if you have small kids or even just don't want to get burned out quickly!
Your days are most likely going to be starting and ending earlier and later than what they would normally and that can be hard on everyone. So take a break! When? Whenever you need it. It could be something as simple as finding a park bench and chilling for however long you need or even heading back to your resort or room and resting. The best part is that your park ticket is good for the whole day, so you can return to the park you were in or if you have the park hopper option, even go to a different one!
Space Mountain is a beloved attraction found at Magic Kingdom. It has been around for over 45 years! It was one of the very first roller coasters that was entirely indoors and was also the first to be controlled by computers. The Imagineers even consulted with real astronauts, such as Gordon Cooper, to help make it the best experience possible.

Rope Dropping!
It can be a great way to ride some rides with a minimal wait time. Make sure that you know what ride you want to head toward and try and have a general idea of how to get there planned out before hand.
Disney buses start running about an hour before park opening so you can get there early!
Inspired by the Disney/Pixar film "Cars", Cars Land brings Radiator Springs to life! It's grand opening took place June 15, 2012 and the Disney Imagineers worked extensively with Pixar animators to put as much detail in this land as possible. You will find such familiar places as Mater’s Junkyard, Sally’s Cozy Cone Motel, Flo’s V8 Cafe and Ramone’s House of Body Art.
While this land is impressive during the day, it's even more beautiful at night when the neon lights come on and shine along Route 66!

Portable chargers are going to be your friend while in the parks!
If you are wanting to take lots of pictures (I mean, it's Disney, who doesn't??) then you will run the risk of your phone battery dying quicker. Having a charger that you can just plug up to your phone and keep in your backpack will keep you on the go and taking all the pictures from start to finish!
Just make sure you charge your charger every night. 😉
Today we take a trip to New Orleans.... Square that is. Found at Disneyland, New Orleans Square was the first new "land" added to Disneyland, dedicated on July 24th, 1966. It incorporates architecture found in the French Quarter: narrow streets with small shops, fountains in quiet courtyards, and rows of colorful townhouses decorated with hanging baskets and even some Mardi Gras beads. Two signature rides, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion can be found in this area as well as plenty of shops and places to eat.

The first time we started doing pin trading, we bought lanyards and all our pins while in the parks. Unfortunately, it got very expensive very fast having to buy the pins to continue trading them.
A great way to avoid this is to buy a starter pack of "tradeable" pins on amazon before you go. You can trade at various spots in the parks, resorts, and with other guests. That way, if you see a pin you really want in one of the shops, you can get it as a souvenir to keep!
We also tend to keep our lanyards in our backpacks as they can get very heavy wearing them all day.
We visit the Valley of Mo'ara in the World of Avatar this week. Found at Animal Kingdom, it is home to 2 attractions:
- Avatar Flight of Passage - Soar on the back of a winged banshee for a 3D flight over Pandora.
- Na'vi River Journey - A gentle boat ride through Pandora's glowing bioluminescent rainforest.
The 12 acre land itself took 6 years and half a billion dollars to build, but it pays off in its precision and detail. And while you won't find any Na'vi or Avatar walking around, you also won't find any of the traditional Disney characters either! This is to help you stay immersed in the Pandora experience.

The Seas with Nemo & Friends is an amazing pavilion at Epcot that provides a ton of great experiences for guests of all ages. The tank itself is huge, the 2nd largest aquarium in the US. For reference, the entirety of Spaceship Earth, also found at Epcot, could completely fit inside of it! It is home to over 60 species and in total there are about 6000 inhabitants. While it is a beautiful and amazing place to visit, it is also used for conservation efforts. Many of the fish have been rescued and cared for in order for them to live happy and healthy lives. The cast members and marine biologists also do a lot of study and research in order to to learn how to preserve these beautiful creatures in the wild.

You can pay for your trip with Disney Gift cards. Some places to consider getting them are Target using the Red Card, grocery stores with fuel perks, Costco, and Sam's Club. You might be able to get them at a discounted price, so definitely consider looking into using these!
Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom is the first themed land as you walk inside the main entrance. It is themed to resemble American small towns during the early 20th Century and was designed to resemble Walt Disney's hometown of Marceline, Missouri. While he didn't live long enough to see it finished, the Imagineers and stakeholders did him proud. There is plenty of entertainment to be found there as well! The Dapper Dans, a fantastic barbershop quartet, perform throughout the day. There are also performances such as the Main Street Philharmonic and character cavalcades, as well as various character appearances.
Since most people walk on the right side of the street, as you enter you will find food shops on the right for those needing a tasty breakfast treat, and on your way out you will find retail shops to your right, perfect for a quick and easy gift or souvenir!

Whether it's food allergies or just simply food cost, this can be a great idea! The parks allow you to bring your own food in, so pack some in your day bag and have them on hand for when you need a quick pick me up.
The Incredicoaster, formerly California Screamin', opened February 8, 2001. Located at Disney California Adventure, it is one of the fastest rides at any Disney park, reaching a top speed of 55 mph. It is also the 8th longest roller coaster in the world! It also has it's own storyline. Before boarding, you are introduced to the storyline which focuses on Jack-Jack and his out of control powers.

Make sure to use Mobile Food Ordering directly from the My Disney Experience App. Simply place your order, head to a specially marked window and pick up your yummy food. It can save you time and headache dealing with the long food lines.
When Walt Disney was planning out Disneyland, he always had a monorail system in mind. Early concept art usually had some form of Monorail. The Disneyland Monorail System opened June 14, 1959. It was the first daily operating monorail in the Western Hemisphere and continues to operate today. There have been 7 versions of the Monorail used at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World, with the Mark VI in operation at Walt Disney World and the Mark VII currently in operation at Disneyland. The Disneyland Monorail travels a total of 2.5 miles and is a 13 minute ride round-trip. With stops at the Tomorrowland station and the Downtown Disney District station, there are plenty of one-of-a-kind views on the way!
