OFFERING TO THE MOTHER EARTH:

This ceremony, which has ancestral, millenary origins, is a tradition in the indigenous communities. According to tradition, the ceremony is held in the month of August when the earth is prepared for sowing. There are different types of ceremonies and offerings for harvests, health, love, etc.

The idea behind the offering is to give in order to receive, as Pachamama / Mother Earth gives us air to breathe, water to quench our thirst, and food to eat without asking for anything in return.

During the ceremony, the shaman invokes the APUS, or protective spirits of the mountains: Apu Huamán Lipa, Apu Pacha t***n, Apu Runtu Jkayan Apu Machupicchu, Apu Putukusi and Apu Viscachani. The four elements; Water, Land, Fire and Air.

FULL DAY LAGUNA HUMANTAY HIKE.
La laguna humantay que se encuentra a 4250 metros de altitud. Aquí podremos ver la variación de colores, dependiendo de la perspectiva que nos entregue el punto en el que nos encontremos, además del glaciar de fondo que alimenta la laguna que da el nombre propio a la laguna ( nevado de Humantay (5800 msnm).
