Fourth annual trip to London in the books. Same time next year?

Highlights include:

- visiting some of London’s top properties and travel specialists (special thanks to Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, Park Hyatt London River Thames & True Travel) ✈️

- catching a W at London Stadium with Jack 🏟️

- soaking in Joe Viola first Irons game and celebrating with venom(s) at The Carpenters Arms 🐍

- ringing in country #70 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

- experiencing an away day with Justin and witnessing the beginning of his soccer content venture (over cheeky pints) 🍻

- eating more than my fair share of McPlants 🌱

- grooving to 80s British indie rock and enjoying a delicious homemade meal courtesy of the McGrath family 🎶

Heads up, U.S. Travelers!! 🛫

Starting tomorrow (January 8, 2025), if you plan to visit the UK, you will be required to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before your trip!

Who needs it? All travelers from the USA, including children and infants.

How do I apply? Download the “UK ETA” app on your smartphone or access the application online through the GOV.UK website.

How long does it take? 10-15 minutes.

What do you need? Just your passport.

How much does it cost? 10£ (or about $12.50) and it’s good for up to two years.

How long does processing take? Up to 3 days, so it is recommended you apply at least a week before your travels.

What if you have a layover in the UK but won’t be spending any time there? You still need ETA approval even if you’re just briefly laying over in London, Edinburgh, etc.
