Hapuku Lodge has a dedicated Green Team that works hard to improve their sustainable program.
In addition, the lodge sources 80% of the food they use from local farmers and suppliers.
The wine list also features only New Zealand wines. The lodge’s electricity supply is 100% renewable. There is also a replanting program where for every night a guest spends at the lodge, a native plant is planted.

Lush is one of the few eco-boutique hotels on Lake Atitlán, the only one in San Marcos La Laguna. They take our commitment to protecting the environment very seriously. Nature is the most important thing to them, and protecting it is not only their duty, but also a labor of love.

All of our cleaning and bathroom products are biodegradable and/or recycled.
They support their water heating systems with solar powered heaters.
All of their equipment is energy efficient and they try to conserve energy wherever they can.

THAILAND .kradan

When Daniela and Stefano arrived in Kradan as tourists, it was clear to them: that a paradise like this must be protected!

There are no plastic bottles. Guests are given a thermos, which will be refilled when needed. Where plastic is indispensable, care is taken to use 100% recyclable plastic. Minimizing and managing their waste ist important for them.
they train their staff very much to separate the waste and take care of the environment.

With their own solar system, they can provide 80% of their own electricity needs.

For energy and plastic reduction reasons, there is no refrigerator in the rooms. The restaurant and bar are only 10 steps away.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but the ocean breeze and the fans on the ceilings provide a pleasant atmosphere.

From my own experience i can say that it is one of the most beautiful places in thailand and always worth a visit. Not only because of the beautiful resort and the island, but also because of the two loving owners who give the resort its unique touch.

Cas Gasi's owners pride themselves on using as many sustainable techniques and environmentally friendly methods as possible in the hotel's daily operations. Organic farming has been practiced on the property since 1995, and today the on-site gardens are a beautiful sight to behold.

Nothing is ever wasted at Cas Gasi - olive oil, jams, preserves and ratatouille are made from surplus crops, and all leftover fruits and vegetables are donated to feed the happy chickens that provide the hotel with free-range eggs every morning.

Clean and green are their promises.

The Manapany is operated with full respect for the natural environment and its protection.
Electricity needs are partially generated by solar panels. The resort produces its own water and only electric cars are used to get around the 4.2-acre property. No chemicals are used in cleaning and maintenance, only steam and natural products. All of the hotel's towels are made of bamboo and only natural fibers. The hotel's own vegetable and fruit garden, with citrus, mango, passion fruit, banana and coconut trees, provides fresh, organic ingredients for the healthy cuisine in the restaurant, while other foods are mostly locally sourced. And only organic products are used for treatments and services at the spa.

PANAMA

Rainwater is collected in a special tank system and reused for toilet flushing. This system is also connected to a well, which supplies additional water during dry periods.

Electricity is provided by solar panels and batteries in which excess energy is stored.

If you order a cocktail at the bar, it is served with a reusable metal straw.

The bungalows, restaurant and bar were built from wood and other local materials such as palm leaves.

No plastic.
