After graduation, she turned professional and played on numerous tours until retiring in 2018. If there’s one thing in this world that will always be iconic, it’s Paris Fashion Week. Combining one of the coolest cities in the world with top tier fashion is sure to be magic, and 2023 did not disappoint. Fashion week and all its events happen twice each year, around the 3rd week of June is Men’s Fashion week, and the end of September is Fashion Week. This year the Axeus team headed to the city of love to take in the sights - and looks! Besides the fashion shows, there are tons of events and parties that bring people to the city from near and far.

Perched high in the Andes, the Mara Salt Mines are an incredible example of traditional salt mining dating back centuries. The terraced salt pans are carved into the mountainside, creating an otherworldly landscape that seems straight out of a dream.

Here, salt is extracted in a manner that has been passed down through generations. As natural spring water flows through these channels, it fills the pans, and with the help of the sun and the region's arid climate, the water evaporates, leaving behind the pristine, mineral-rich salt crystals. It's a fascinating process to see up close! It's also a beautiful photo backdrop and a great stop on your next Latin American adventure.

Happy Saturday, travelers! Pictured here is the Duoro Valley in Portugal, which is incredibly famous for its port wine production. If you find yourself in Porto, we highly recommend taking a day trip to Duoro Valley where you can sample the local wines, take in the impressive views, and even enjoy a boat ride through the valley. The valley is situated about 3.5 hours outside of Porto and can be reached via car or train! There are plenty of wineries to choose from so come ready for a day of fun, and plenty of port!
