We will never forget Dunamis Women’s (and a few fellas) group in Egypt! They didn’t allow fear to keep them away and they reaped the rewards. They laughed, danced, learned, shopped, ate and expanded their minds. We literally get to watch people’s lives change right in front of us and that’s priceless. It makes all of the long hours and long flights worth it. We put our heart and soul into making these experiences more than a “trip”. The impact on each person’s life is something we will never forget.

Our Story

Maximum Impact Tours is connecting people of the African Diaspora (or any ethnicity) to the continent of Africa with carefully planned tours designed to highlight the unique history. Whether you are looking to join one of our planned tours or you are a group looking to plan a private, custom tour, let Maximum Impact take care of the details for you.

​Maximum Impact Tours was founded by speaker, author, playwright and life strategist, Jay Cameron after a life-changing trip to Ghana. As Jay shares in the mini-documentary The Ghana Chronicles, his experience moved him to the point of encouraging, inspiring and leading others of African descent to visit the continent.

Jay also traveled to East Africa for the trip of a lifetime with visits to Ethiopia, a Safari in The Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar Island and a triumphant climb to the very top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Be sure to check out the documentary about this life-changing adventure.

If this is your first trip to Africa, we suggest Ghana being your first country to visit because of the powerful enslaved African history that it offers. Being an American who is a descendant of enslaved Africans, Jay understood the importance of creating a well-rounded, comprehensive, entertaining tour from that perspective. Every detail has been crafted with you in mind.
