Great article. Before leaving for Jordan, there were alot of people worried about me heading over there. My reply was, my company would not put over 250 agents in danger if they need to cancel they will.
As mentioned in this article the Global Terrorism Index has Canada and the United States ranked higher than Jordan.
For me personally, I never felt that my safety was ever an issue there, and would certainly go back.
To put things into perspective, the Global Terrorism Index (GTI), which lists terrorist threats for countries based on four indicators: incidents, fatalities, injuries, and hostages, ranks the U.S. at 30, popular tourist hotspots like Greece at 34, the UK at 41, New Zealand at 50 and....
How could I forget the market in Aqaba!! We picked up Bedouin and Pomegranate tea, and many space for rubs and sauces.
🌅 Embracing the end of an era with hope and excitement, the inspiring 🎉CEOs of G Adventure ensured our journey ended on a high note. We culminated our incredible adventure with a picturesque 🛥️ boat cruise on the Red Sea and an exuberant beach party at our Aqaba hotel.
Early Monday morning, we embarked on our return journey, boarding a flight that brought us closer to home after 12 hours.

🚌 From Petra to Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum considered the Valley of the Moon. The area has been used as a background setting in a number of films… Aladdin (2019), The Hurt Locker (2009), Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (2009), The Mummy Returns (2001), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker, and Lawrence of Arabia (1962).
This area is also used to film a lot of Mars films as well.
We feasted on an authentic Bedouin quinine. A hole was dug in the desert 🐪 with coals at the bottom then the food was placed in the hole covered by sand, there it cooked for 3-4 hours.

Day 4 in Amman came and went. It was a long day. We heard from Royal Caribbean, Air Canada, Collette, AmaWaterways, Regent Seven Seas, Insight Vacations, Just You and many more.
Our day concluded with our Gala, awarding many accolades to deserving Travel Agents. We were at the Kimpinski Dead Sea Hotel.
The sunsets 🌅 here in Jordan 🇯🇴 have been amazing.
The second day of our conference has concluded, with presentations from Jordan Tourist Board, Royal Jordanian Airlines, G Adventures, Celebrity, Viking, Globus, Oceania, Seabourn, Royal Irish Tours, and many other esteemed suppliers.
A group cruise 🚢 may be a possibility in the future, and we extend an invitation to all who are interested. The Galápagos Islands are a potential destination. 🐢
Tonight's dinner was a Bedouin-themed event at the beachside hotel, featuring traditional attire provided by . The attire consisted of a thawb, a long, dark or white gown with large, wing-like sleeves, worn by both men and women.
Day 1 has ended, and day 2 has arrived, bringing with it new adventures and experiences. Near the end of day 1 we delved into the breathtaking Dead Sea, which was truly awe-inspiring. I am still in disbelief that I am actually here in Jordan 🇯🇴, it's like a dream come true. I am excited to share all the details of my journey with you, to make your next travel experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
Day 1 - adventure to Jordan. Tripp's Unlimited safely transported me to the airport. There was a slight delay checking in, but it was expected since over 250 travel agents and suppliers were heading to the same destination. I made a quick stop in the KLM Crown Lounge before boarding.
