SoBe Education Foundation is still accepting resumes for new board members! The application period will close on May 31st. Please send resume/CV and cover letter [email protected]. Thank you to everyone that has already applied!

This is a working board and a volunteer position. An ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following areas: education, education administration, NFP and fundraising, accounting, law, Spanish language translation and/or interpretation, or PTO/PTA leadership. Most important, an ideal candidate wants to be involved and uplift students in D100. Applicants are not required to live in Berwyn South.

The mission of SoBe Education Foundation is to is to enhance the experience of every District 100 student to inspire a passion for learning. We do this through fundraising to providing grants to Berwyn South staff for use in their classrooms and school buildings. If you have considered getting involved before, this is an excellent opportunity to continue to build and grow this education foundation.

Today I began my work with the SoBe Education Foundation putting together over 130 bags with supplies for home learning for our most at need families at Berwyn South School District 100 . Thank you to all those that donated to SoBe Education Foundation INC on Giving Tuesday! We know there are many charities and NFPs out there doing great work vying for the same attention as our start-up. Thank you for taking a chance on us! We won't let you down. The donations made will help us get started on our own great work of supporting kids and their teachers.

The SoBe Education Foundation inc is officially up and running. We are excited for all the opportunities that we will be offering to our South Berwyn students. The mission of the foundation is to enhance the experience of every D100 student to inspire a passion for learning. We need your support to accomplish that mission.

We will be enhancing three areas of the students experiences, through educational enhancements such as extracurricular activities, facility enhancements such as collaborative spaces and flexible seating and through classroom materials like classroom libraries.

To accomplish our mission we will be engaging our Berwyn Community, reaching outside of Berwyn for sponsorships and grants, and by creating partnership that will create resources and experiences for our students.

The Foundation will award grants to Teachers and Principals. Our purpose will be driven by teachers and fueled by the community. And that is where you come in, please think of us this Giving Tuesday.

When we work together, we can inspire our children and then anything is possible.
