This is a working board and a volunteer position. An ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following areas: education, education administration, NFP and fundraising, accounting, law, Spanish language translation and/or interpretation, or PTO/PTA leadership. Most important, an ideal candidate wants to be involved and uplift students in D100. Applicants are not required to live in Berwyn South.
The mission of SoBe Education Foundation is to is to enhance the experience of every District 100 student to inspire a passion for learning. We do this through fundraising to providing grants to Berwyn South staff for use in their classrooms and school buildings. If you have considered getting involved before, this is an excellent opportunity to continue to build and grow this education foundation.
