How to help a broken heart ........ Foster babies. Thank you Irene Devika Clyde for saving these two babies. A grey tortie girl and a pale ginger. Bambi and Latte. Eyes open, bums wriggling and learning to drink from a kitten bottle. Eyes are open so i think they are most likely 2 weeks old, Another couple of weeks and they can try some soft cat food. Irene Devika Clyde your babies are fed and now sleeping.

T and S is now OPEN and back to usual trading hours of 9am til 2pm. We will also be open for taxi's and tours to bring folks from the cruise boats Saturday. Thank you so much for your patience and support while I was away.

Hey All ya gorgeous kitty cats, the boys ,the girls, the little ones, we WANT YOU !!! Our Dr Rose will be here next FRIDAY 18th October for the one day vet clinic. We want to health check, we want to desex, we want to flea and worm ya all. If ya need transport or a carry cage arrange it with Steph on 75650. Common now, let's get this done.

A very generous lady sent me some lovely Keshi pearls. I LOVE keshi pearls. The fact that they aren't cultured, and are cute organic shapes with stunning colours and beautiful lustre. Often they are small and harder to drill but oh, they make beautiful dainty rings. I made 17 of them !! All different, all individual. $60 for one or two for $100. They will go to new homes super fast, but i loved making them.

Thank you to these lovely California firefighters who brought supplies for Aitutaki Community Animal Rescue. As we head into kitten season they brought kitten feeding bottles, cat treats, soft blankets, fold up cat carrier and one that can be used as a backpack!! and some choc for me...very spoilt! They foster kittens and brought awesome items. Very Much appreciated. I'm in awe of folks who come on holiday and bring items to support the animal organisations here. You truely make a difference. THANK YOU.

Yesterday we had a starving, skinny cat found and brought to us. He was FULL of tumours, looked terrible and was in a bad way. We sent him to Raro and sadly he was put to sleep. Letting you all know, that if you need help with a sick cat, there are more options and you don't have to do it alone. I WILL help you. It's a sad time, animals do get sick. Contact me and we can see what can be done and HUGE thank you to the lovely people who fed and cared for this poor old boy. You are amazing . (not this cat in pic, but similar)

MISSING cha-cha has gone missing from her home with Cemone Tira. She has been away for 2 days which is not like her. She's very friendly and may have followed someone. Cemone and her cat sister and brothers are missing her. If you see her please let cemone know. She may be around the area of Ade's Threads or Abelas accommodation, or even Pacific resort. T and S Studio will be CLOSED 9am til 3pm Monday to Thursday as Steph will be at the TAX conference. However, if tourists wish to come and shop for jewellery from 3.30pm approx to 6pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Thanks so much

Kia Orana Kitten season is just around the corner, again!!! If you have not done so, please desex your cats. Any kittens born will need to stay with mum till they can be weaned at about 5-6 weeks. They really need mums milk. Desexing can take place once mum has finished feeding her babies. Chat with the vets and Steph to see what can be arranged. We expect another vet visit around first week of October. We can make a plan. I can help with transport, a carry cage etc Meitaki atupaka. You all have a blessed day. Contact me... I'm happy to help. I don't want you to have more cats than you can afford to feed and starving animals put into the bush is just sooo sad, and not a good solution.

You will meet pearls farmers and be able to look through a small plastic container of loose pearls for your choices. I'm happy to make these into earrings, a pendant or a bracelet for you. Resident AvateaCafe kitty cat Uncle MIke had an old fella bump on his lip, so we removed it before it got too big to work with, plus he had his spa day of lots of cuddles, treatment for flea and worms and an antibiotic as it was a big piece we took off his lip. It shouldn't affect his purring or his kitty cat smile. He's always around at AvateaCafe to give purrs and eat any tidbit you offer from the delicious menu. He highly recommends the fish tacos !!

Thank you Araura for a wonderful one day vet clinic on Friday with Dr Rose from Te Are Manu . LOTS of animals came in and we treated flea and worms, skin conditions, wounds, desexed cats young cats, health checks and advice. We do get cats that visit that have nose cancer. This often looks like a sore on the nose that doesn't heal. Cats with white fur and those with pink noses get it more than others. When it is advanced and the cat has trouble eating, drinking and keeping itself clean, we can assist with euthanasia in a pain free, caring way. Ear cancer can sometimes be cut off, and lip cancer too if we catch it early.
