Some warmer temperatures are on the horizon, but that doesn't mean we're in the clear just yet! If you're planning to visit us this spring, keep an eye on both weather and park road status, which can change at a moment's notice.

No foolin! People really can use the Island Park breezes to sail across the snow. Wearing skis or a snowboard, folks can zip across the flats near Henry's Lake. Just another fun activity to learn or watch around the Hassing Hillside Hideaway!

Happy day! There is a long history of agriculture in Island Park . Harriman State Park is a 16,000 acre wildlife refuge that was a cattle ranch before becoming an Idaho State Park. It is known for world class fly fishing, numerous wildlife species, and plenty of both summer and winter activities.
