7 DAYS MACHAME ROUTE
Day 1: Machame Gate (1800m) – Machame Camp (2835m)
After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from Arusha (1400m) and driven to the Machame Village. In the village, you can buy mineral water and will receive a packed lunch. From the village, depending on the road conditions, you will either continue to drive from the village to the Machame gate, but if not, the muddy 3 km walk will take about 1 hour to complete. After registering at the gate office, you start your ascent and enter the rain forest almost immediately. There is a strong possibility of rain in the forest, which will transform the trail into a very soggy, muddy and slippery experience. You will have a welcome lunch stop about half way and will reach the Machame camping area in the late afternoon.
Your porters (arriving at the camp site long before you) will have erected your tent on your arrival. In the evening the porters will boil drinking and washing water and the cook will prepare dinner, before you retire to your tent for the night. Night temperatures can already drop to freezing point at this campsite.
Day 2: Machame Camp (2835m) – Shira Camp (3750m)
After an early morning breakfast, you will start you ascent leaving the rain forest and entering the heathland moorland vegetation. You will cross many streams and walk over a rocky ridge onto the Shira plateau that leads to Shira Camp (3840m). At this campsite, you will be next to a stream and have a spectacular view of the Western Breach and its glaciers in the East. Similar to the first night, your tents will be set up prior to arriving at camp and the porters will prepare drinking and washing water for you. You will enjoy evening snacks then dinner prepared by our chef. Be prepared for a cold night as temperatures drop below freezing at this exposed camp.
Day 3: Shira (at 3750m) – Lava Tower (at 4600m) – Barranco camp (at 3900m)
Following an early morning breakfast, you will leave the moorland environment and enter the semi desert and rocky landscape. After 5 hours of walking east, you will be come face to face with the Lava Tower (4630m). Packed lunches are served at the Tower and hikers have the option of climbing the massive Lava Tower weather permitting. At this point of the hike, it is normal for hikers to start feeling the effects from the altitude including headaches and shortness of breath.
After lunch, you will descend from Lava Tower (4630m) to the Barranco Campsite (3950m). The 6800m descent gives hikers a huge advantage to allow their bodies to adjust to the conditions of high altitude. The descent to camp takes around 2 hours to reach. It is located in a valley below the Breach and Great Barranco Wall (“Breakfast Wall”). Drinking and washing water and dinner will be served as hikers view the sun setting.
Day 4: Barranco Camp (3900m) – Karanga Camp (3995m)
After an early morning breakfast, it is now time to conquer the Great Barranco Wall! Although it may look intimating at first glance, hikers state that this Class 2 hike is usually much easier than they anticipated. At the top of the Wall, you will have a view of Heim Glacier and will be above the clouds. The trail then winds up and down in the Karanga Valley. This is an ideal hiking day for acclimatization.
Day 5: Karanga Camp (3995m) – Barafu Hut (4673m)
Following breakfast, you will leave Karanga Camp (3959m). The trail intersects with the Mweka Route, which is the trail used to descend on the final two days. As you continue hiking for an hour, you will reach Barafu Hut. This is the last water stop for the porters because there is no accessible water at Barafu Camp (4550m). The word “barafu” in Swahili means “ice” and this camp is located on a rocky, exposed ridge. Tents will be exposed to wind and rocks so it is important for hikers to familiarize themselves with the campsite before dark. An early dinner will be served so hikers can rest before attempting the summit the same night. Your guide will brief you in detail on how to prepare for summit night. Get to sleep by 19:00!
Day 6: Summit Attempt - Barafu camp (4673m) – Uhuru Peak (5895m) – Mweka (3100m)
Your guide will wake you around 23:30 for tea and biscuits. You will then begin your summit attempt. The route heads northwest and you will ascend over stone scree. During the ascent, many hikers feel that this is the most mentally and physically challenging part of the climb. In about 6 hours, you will reach Stella Point (5685m), located on the crater rim. After enjoying the magnificent sunrise, you will continue ascending for about 2 hours on a snow-covered trail to Uhuru Peak (5895m). Reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro is a lifetime accomplishment! You will be able to spend a short time on the summit taking photographs and drinking tea before the descent to Barafu begins. The hike down to Barafu Camp takes about 3 hours.
At camp, you will rest and enjoy a hot lunch in the sun. After eating, you will continue descending down to Mweka Hut (3100m). The Mweka Trail will lead you through the scree and rocks to the moorland and eventually into the rain forest. Mweka Camp (3100m) is located in the upper rain forest, so fog and rain should be expected. You will have a dinner, wash, and rest soundly at camp.
Day 7: Mweka camp (3100m) – Mweka Gate (1980m)
Following a well-deserved breakfast, your staff will have a big celebration full of dancing and singing. It is here on the mountain that you will present your tips to the guide, assistant guides, chef(s), and porters. After celebrating, you will descend for three hours back to Mweka Gate. The National Park requires all hikers to sign their names to receive certificates of completion. Hikers who reached Stella Point (5685m) receive green certificates and hikers who reached Uhuru Peak (5895m) receive gold certificates. After receiving certificates, hikers will descend into the Mweka village for 1 hour (3 kilometers). After receiving certificates, you will drive back to your hotel in Moshi.

2 DAYS AND 1 NIGHT TOUR: TARANGIRE + NGORONGORO
Although this little duration is not enough to explore the wonders of natural beauty yet we have strategically tried to cover most of the places and sights for you. Let’s see how we will get started with this adventure:
Available Dates - February and March (Everyday Departures)
DAY 1
The day starts with the flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. A Jeep will take you to Tarangire and a full-day game drive starts from this location. Once you are warmed up and a little tired to enjoy a feast, lunch will be arranged inside the park. After a long day at the park and other attractions in the area, in the evening all of you will depart to Karatu for an overnight stay. Luxury accommodation will be arranged for the guests with High View or Octagon Lodge.
It will take 1 hour and 40 minutes from Arusha to Tarangire and from Tarangire to Karatu, you will reach in 2 hours.
DAY 2
Ngorongoro Crater and back to Zanzibar
The morning after breakfast, with picnic lunch boxes descend down to Ngorongoro crater floor for a game drive where we view the wild animals including the Big 5 animals, which is famous also for black Rhino then after satisfying you will begin to a steep ascent to the top exit of the crater.
You will be dropped off at Arusha Airport to take flight back to Zanzibar.

6 DAYS MIKUMI/ RUAHA AND CHOMA WATERFALLS
📍Day 1
*Transfer and Maasai Village*
Our Driver will pick you from the Hotel in Zanzibar for morning ferry to Dar Es Salaam and after we arrived in Dar Es Salaam we will drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours’ drive. You will have a short stop in Msolwa for hot lunch. After Lunch proceed with drive until to Mikumi . Arrive in afternoon and visit Maasai village until sunset, after Maasai village you will drive back to the hotel, (Overnight at Camp Bastian)
📍DAY 2;
*Full day game drive in Mikumi National Park *
Pick up around 6:00am, After breakfast and drive to Mikumi gate, you will go for full day game drive in Mikumi national park. In afternoon around 13:30 or 14:00pm have a lunch inside the park restaurant then proceed with safari until the late evening and then back to hotel (Overnight at Camp Bastian).
Common Animals found in mikumi are lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants and many more. Wild dog can be seen in packs here. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.
Day 3;
After breakfast, depart for Ruaha National Park (long drive of some 6 hours via Mikumi town and Iringa). In the afternoon we reach the lodge constructed on and around Jabali ridge overlooking the woodland. The Lodge provide comfortable accommodation and good food while blending into its surroundings to enable visitors to feel themselves a part of the wild. Both the dining “Banda” and the bar, in elevated position above the river combine comfort and coolness together with the most spectacular views.
📍Day 4; Ruaha National Park
One full day game drives at Ruaha National Park with picnic lunch. Ruaha, with an area of 20,226sq km. Is the first largest park in Tanzania, and second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania. The great Ruaha River that flows along its entire eastern border, creating spectacular gorges and scenery, features a large number of hippos and crocodiles. The wide variety of animals include Greater and Lesser Kudu, roan and sable antelope. Bird life is rich, with over 370 species recorded.
📍Day 5;
Ruaha National Park to Morogoro Region
Depart for Morogoro Region, Early morning after breakfast we will Start driving to Morogoro region, we will have a short break on the way for the lunch and then we will proceed with drive until to the hotel, (overnight at simbamwenni tented lodge).
📍 Day 6 Choma waterfalls and drive back to Dar-es-salaam.

Our incredible guide will meet you at the starting point and hiking to Choma waterfalls. He will be able to explain everything you need to know and show you his knowledge about medicines plants and birds Best way to get close to local people in the mountains, A hike in the Ulurgu Mountains to Choma Waterfall or all the way to Lupanga Peak (2150m above sea level) is a great way to spend the day! This is more of walkthrough villages on a steep dirt trail than it is a true “hike” through treacherous terrain.
After enjoying the hiking and Choma waterfalls, you will drive back to Dar es Salaam to catch the last boat to Zanzibar.

📍Day 1: Arrive in Zanzibar
On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met by our representative and transferred to (Marafiki bungalow) . We will let you with no activities on this first day.

6-DAY MIKUMI/ RUAHA / UDZUNGWA
Day 1 Dar-es-salaam - Mikumi National Park
Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or at Dar Es Salaam Airport by your guide and start drive to Mikumi national park (transfer some 5 hours from Dar Es Salaam outskirts), being nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest. As it is close to the Selous ecosystem and therefore part of it, it benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area.
Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is suitable very well for a short visit. After arrival at Mikumi National Park you will check in for afternoon game drives around the park.
Day 2 Mikumi - Ruaha
After breakfast, depart for Ruaha National Park (long drive of some 7.8 hours via Mikumi town and Iringa). In the afternoon we reach the lodge constructed on and around hilltop lodge overlooking the woodland. The Lodge provide comfortable accommodation and good food while blending into its surroundings to enable visitors to feel themselves a part of the wild. Day 4 Ruaha - Udzungwa
After breakfast your depart for Udzungwa Mountain National Park (drive of some 7-8 hours), one of the most interesting bio-diversity and unique rainforest areas of East Africa, where many extremely rare plants and animal species have been identified (and indeed continue to be discovered). Among the six types of primates there are two endemic species found nowhere else in the world – the Udzungwa Colobus Monkey and the Sanje Crested Mangabey. You arrive at your camp late morning for a day of walking and bird-watching in the pristine rain forest, hiking towards the Sanje waterfalls for spectacular views of the wide Kilombero Valley. If you wish, you can bath and play around in the pools at the waterfalls.
Day 5 Udzungwa Mountain
Today your guide will take you to the Hidden Waterfall Trail taking you to Njokamoni Waterfall, right back into Hondo Hondo. It’s a long, steep walk that climbs to over 1000m, so you should plan to leave early. It is necessary to take a ranger on this hike as there are large mammals deep in the forest. You will certainly see plenty of wildlife on this trail. Once you’ve climbed the sometimes steep trail to the ridge, you walk through the flat grassy bottoms of some beautiful hidden valleys (hence our name for the trail) often frequented by elephants. Overnight at Udzungwa Falls Lodge.
Day 6 Udzungwa - Dar-es-salaam
After breakfast you will start drive back to Dar es Salama, we will stop at Msolwa restaurant for lunch then continue with a drive until ferry or airport, And will be the end of our services.

•DAY TRIP
ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS.
- Pick up from your hotel and transferred to Kendwa Beach or Hotel Verde - Azam Luxury Hotel (at Marina) and depart just before Sunrise by our water taxi (speed boat) direct to Saadani National Park which is just an hour with few minutes ride away.
- Upon arrival in Saadani National Park, met & greeted by our professional driver guides for a full day game drive.
- A short break for lunch in one of the selected Restaurant or lunch in the bush, then proceed with the game drive till late afternoon.

- Pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar in the morning and transferred to Zanzibar airport for your flight to Serengeti.
- Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, met & greeted by our professional driver guides with picnic lunch and start your game drive till late afternoon.
- After the safari, we will take you to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:
- After early breakfast, game drive enroute to Ngorongoro conservation area with picnic lunch; descend into the crater for another game drive.
- Afterwards, drive to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:
- After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch for morning game drive.
- Thereafter, drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar where your driver will be waiting for you to transfer to your hotel.

Day 1
*Transfer and Sunset Boat safari*
Stop at Selous Game Reserve Meet professional guide then drive for 5 to 6 hours then stop for refreshment at Kibiti Upon arrival in Selous, check-in at your accommodation arrive for lunch then after get rest we will Transfer to river bank for the late afternoon thrilling boat sunset cruise safari along the Rufiji River, you will see hippo, crocodiles, birds & black and white Coloubas monkey in their natural habitat. Overnight at African safari Camp.
Day 2
*Game Drive Across the Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi National park, *
After breakfast, you will start game drive in Selous Game Reserve up to lunch time you will have picnic lunch inside the park then proceed with en route drive to across selous park drive to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro over the Uluguru Mountains across arrive for dinner at Morio camp site, or camp Bastian.
Day 3
*Full Day Game drive and Masaai Culture *
Pick up around 7:00am after breakfast, Then you will leave for full day game viewing in the park. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lions, elands, wildebeest, buffalo,warthog, crocodile,wildebeest, Impala ,giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants then you will have lunch at mikumi wildlife camp enjoy your lunch while you see some animals after lunch proceed with game view up to 1600 hrs then drive to to masaai boma for more history about this nomad tribe which is far away from life also is your chance to watch and dance with them a traditional dance then after drive back at your accomodatio place.
Day 4
*Transfer to Dar es Salaam*
Enjoy your breakfast ,then start drive to dar es salaa via morogoro Road upon you arrive to dar es salaam will take you to your hotel, or to the ferry for the last boat to back Zanzibar.
