If you are looking for a great family owned/run deli (as well as Pizzeria - located next door) give 3 Sons a try. The food and service are great, but even more, they are good people.

10.21.1928, at the age of 17, Aviatrix Elinor Smith made headlines around the world.

After being dared by a group of male pilots at Curtiss Field, the teenager flew her plane—solo—under the four East River bridges.
She remains the only person ever to have piloted a landplane under all four bridges. The feat made her famous and soon she was known far beyond Long Island as the “Flying Flapper of Freeport."
