Some of the most exciting travel I’ve experienced has been throughout Croatia. From the main cities, to island hopping, and throughout the numerous national parks, there’s something for everyone! Here’s how to make the most of your trip to this stunning gem of the Adriatic:

☀️ Timing is Everything: Summer is ideal for beach lovers, though it can be crowded. If you prefer pleasant weather with fewer tourists, spring and fall are perfect.

☀️ Money Matters: The currency in Croatia is the Croatian Kuna (HRK). While credit and debit cards are widely accepted, it's a good idea to carry some cash for convenience.

☀️ Language Basics: Croatian is the official language. In tourist areas, you'll find that English is commonly spoken, but knowing a few basic Croatian phrases can enhance your experience.

☀️ Getting Around: Public transportation, including buses and ferries, is reliable for getting around. Renting a car is a great option if you want to explore more remote areas. In major cities, taxis and rideshares are readily available.

This delicious cocktail is made with red wine and lemon soda, and it’s perfect for those hot Spanish days! ⭐️Spain has great public transportation! Check your map before heading out for the day and note where local bus stops and train stations are. Local tourism offices can also be incredibly helpful when you need some advice as to how to get around! ⭐️Like most European cities, tipping is not expected. If you have an amazing experience somewhere, tips are of course still appreciated!
