A whine post.
Tried organising a trip to the top of the mountain with all expenses included, except the food and drinks.
Got challenged. As people have the tent from argos and they have camped on the campsites, so they know the score.
Fine - I am good with that. No problem.
It doesn't matte that their tent is a 4 point contact and mine is 13. They don't understand the danger. The price you need to pay for safety in challenging conditions, which in return guarantee an unforgettable experience.
The price that is paid is the price for experience and knowledge (not to mention the time!). The two valuable things that work towards your safety. I have been pitched up at the top of the mountain ridge in a very tricky positioning with 60mph winds and that's no fun. You need to know how to do it so you are not blown off. Plus, you need to have the right equipment, plus you need someone to check the bloody pegs, for your own safety.
And I am here.
I have never let down.
