Saga Dawa, a holy month honoring the Lord Buddha’s life. - His birth, Enlightenment and his Death (parinirvana)

It takes place on the fourth Bhutanese month, which begins on the 23rd of May lasts till the 21st of June 2020.

Saga Dawa is called the month of merits.
Merit of any good deeds that you perform are thought to be multiplied; as many as a hundred million times and vice versa.
In Bhutan, sale of meat will be banned for one whole month. .
