Brihadishvara Temple, also known as Thanjai Periya Kovil and Peruvudaiyar Kovil, is a Shaivite Hindu temple built in the Chola architectural style on the south bank of the Cauvery River in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the largest Hindu temples in the world and a prime example of Tamil architecture. It is also known as Dakshina Meru ("Meru of the South). Built between 1003 and 1010 CE by Chola emperor Rajaraja I, the temple is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Great Living Chola Temples," along with the hola-era Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple and Airavatesvara temple, which are approximately 70 kilometers (43 mi) and 40 kilometers (25 mi) to the northeast, respectively.

ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കേരളത്തിലെ ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സംരക്ഷിത പ്രദേശമാണ് ഇരവികുളം ദേശീയോദ്യാനം. 1975-ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഈ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം 97 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ളതാണ്. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ തീരത്തിന് സമാന്തരമായി കിടക്കുന്ന പർവതനിരയായ പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിലാണ് ഇരവികുളം ദേശീയോദ്യാനം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിൽ മാത്രം കാണപ്പെടുന്ന നീലഗിരി താർ എന്ന കാട്ടാടുൾപ്പടെ വംശനാശഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്ന നിരവധി ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെ ആവാസകേന്ദ്രമാണിത്.
സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് 2,000 മീറ്റർ ഉയരത്തിലാണ് ഈ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്, പുൽമേടുകൾ, ഷോളകൾ (കട്ടികൂടിയ വനപ്രദേശങ്ങൾ), ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പർവതങ്ങളുടെ മനോഹരമായ കാഴ്ചകൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് പേരുകേട്ടതാണ് ഈ ദേശീയോദ്യാനം. രണ്ടായിരത്തിലധികം ഇനം പൂച്ചെടികൾ, പുല്ലുകൾ,
ഫെർണുകൾ എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെ വിവിധ സസ്യജാലങ്ങളുടെ ആവാസ കേന്ദ്രം കൂടിയാണ് ഈ പാർക്ക്.
ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ കൊടുമുടിയായ ആനമുടിയാണ് പാർക്കിലെ പ്രധാന ആകർഷണങ്ങളിലൊന്ന്. ചുറ്റുപാടുമുള്ള ഭൂപ്രകൃതിയുടെ അതിമനോഹരമായ കാഴ്ചകൾ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ കൊടുമുടി ട്രക്കിംഗ് നടത്തുന്നവരുടെ ഒരു ജനപ്രിയ സ്ഥലമാണ്.

Kanatal is a small village and a hill station in India's Uttarakhand state.
Kanatal is located 78 kilometers from Dehradun (the state capital of Uttarakhand),
38 kilometers from Mussoorie, and 12 kilometers from Chamba.
It is located on the Chamba-Mussoorie road, approximately 300 kilometers from Delhi. [1] [2]
Kanatal's history can be traced back several decades, when a small lake known as "taal" or "pond" dried up.
When it dried up, people started calling it kaana taal. Kanatal is the name of the nearby neighborhood.

Chopta is a tiny area of meadows and evergreen forest that is a part of the Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It serves as a starting point for hikes to Tungnath, the third of the Panch Kedar temples, which is located 3.5 kilometers away. Chandrashila, a summit rising above 4,000m, is situated 1.5km from Tungnath (13,000 ft).

Located in the Uttarakhand Himalayas, Chopta is a pristine natural area with views of the impressive Himalayan range, including Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba. It is situated 2,709 meters (8,888 feet) above sea level. During the warmer months, supplies are delivered to the monastery on horses, donkeys, and mules; during the freezing winters, they are conveyed through the frozen Zanskar River. Now, it is a day's walk from Village Cha or Village Khangsaar, at the end of the road coming from Padum, however, a road is anticipated to be built up to the monastery. Using a team from Global Solar, solar energy was installed at the Phugtal monastery in 2016.

P**kthar, where Thar stands for "freedom," is another way to spell P**ktal. As a result, P**ktal's name means "the cave of leisure" or "the cave of release."
