We are so proud of our friend and colleague Linda Upshall who is an ALS warrior and is raising money for the ALS Society.

Linda’s message: The ALS Society has been by my side since my diagnosis. They have helped me with the never ending list of equipment I need as the disease slowly progresses.

Please donate so they can continue helping ALS warriors until there's a cure.

So happy that our client Sara who is visiting from Kansas got to visit the Crow's Nest Officers' Club. She met with Brian O’Connell and Margaret Morris to share the story of her Great Uncle William Watts Cliendaniel, Captain of the Delise, that was torpedoed off the coast of Newfoundland during the Second World War.

Great Uncle Bill was rescued and he spent weeks in Newfoundland recovering. The unique story of his days in Newfoundland is part of family lore and remembered fondly, thank you so much Sara for sharing with it with us.

So proud of our Maxxim family member Linda Upshall and her team Linda’s LOL’s who participated in the Walk to end ALS on Sunday. Her incredible daughter Emma spoke to CBC about why the walk is so important to her 💙

Over $9,600 was raised at the Walk to End ALS this weekend in St. John's. Family and friends of people with ALS got together, with hopes to one day find a cure for the debilitating condition.

The warm season is a perfect time to talk with entrepreneurs in tourism and hospitality!

We were honored to have John R. Steele (CEO of Steele Hotels and Long Play Capital Corporation), and Jill Curran (owner of Maxxim Vacations and founder of Lighthouse Picnics), to be our guest speakers in the Entrepreneurship Training Program!

Our participants were eager to hear about their perspectives as entrepreneurs. John and Jill also listened to each participant's business ideas and challenges they have faced and addressed them.
