Do you like sushi bowls? Go to Kukai and check out this dish called Mount Fuji Don. It’s absolutely incredible! It’s spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, and so much more goodness. We’ve had it too many times to count. The tuna is so fresh and the crunchiness of the cucumber gives it such a nice texture and explosion of flavors. Go there today and let us know how you like it!

“Amazing bakery! It's been around for over 20 years and that speaks for itself. Pastry's are so good, all the breads are baked fresh daily and priced reasonably. They do it all here. Bake cakes for party large functions etc! The owner is wonderful! I always get the blueberry cheese pastry or the brownies.”

“I think this just might be my new favorite burger in town! I had the 5B burger - it was absolute perfection! Bleu cheese, balsamic onions, balsamic honey glaze! I literally stopped chewing and just savored the flavors in my mouth for a moment! So much flavor, and so much burger! The flavors didn't outdo the actual burger, which was so hearty, and delicious! Lots of everything, it was falling out of the bun. We got a side a fries, which were enough for our whole table, and mixed pickles, with sweet, sour, and hot! Great service! They offered to bring us anything that we needed even though you order at the counter. The food came out fast. I'II be back with my husband, because burgers are his thing, and to try the mac and cheese!”

“As a previous Pie hater, this shop has made me reconsider all my previous life choices. These pies are life changing.
Was planning on buying just a pie slice or two to bring to someone on National Pie Day. However, all of the Pie slices were on sale and I ended up picking up 5 different types of pie slices to share with some coworkers. have never been complemented so much on food I've brought into work and I had people asking where this store is located.
The pies have real flavor with substance to them.
The crust is flaky and clearly homemade. Not once did I think of scooping out the filling and leaving behind the crust which I so often do with other pies.
Plus there are so many different flavors to try.
My favorites were the mixed berry and the Lemon.
And if it couldn't get better, the staff were some of the nicest people you'll meet.
Never thought I'd be craving pie on a day different than 3/14 but here I am looking forward to my next trip to this pie haven.”

“Traditional to contemporary flower arrangements will be presented by local artists of some the major ikebana schools - Sogetsu, Ikenobo, Ohara, and Shinsei - and displayed in original vases throughout the Gardens ground, showing the interesting variation in techniques and styles of these schools.

Ikebana, also known as “the Way of the Flowers", is the meditative art of Japanese floral arrangements, and its ideals embody the essence of taste, beauty, and oneness with nature. Ikebana uniquely emphasizes shape, line, and form by giving equal weight to the branches, stems, and leaves of a plant rather than merely arranging its blooms. Classical Ikebana dates to the 15th century and successor schools have emerged since. In all of them, deep-rooted design rules and a Zen-like discipline subtly harmonize nature and the hand of the arranger.

Come celebrate with us the arrival of spring and 10 years of Ikebana Festivals at Yume Japanese Gardens!
