Channelling my inner Mariah Carey… “it’s tiiiiimmmmmmmmeeeeee”.

I am now officially out of office and heading to Lapland. It’s the biggest secret I’ve ever kept from Finley, however all was revealed after school today.

I will be in Lapland from 19th December and will be back to some sort of normal on 23rd December. I’m ready to find out if I’m on the nice list this year. I’m also incredibly excited to create these memories for Finley.

🎶 I got 5 on it! 🎶

5 years, my first year milestone has struck.
5 years ago, I launched my little business. After leaving the high street 6 years before, I started my business with not one client and was a little rusty in the sales process. In those 5 years I have grown my baby from the ground up and have a pretty wonderful following along with some incredible clients.

Looking back over the course of the last 5 years, there has been some lows (I’m not going into those details as you lived through it with me!) but those have been outweighed by the highs. My 5 years looks like this:

🌎 Over 1100 of you have travelled to all four corners of our globe

🌎 I’m still rated 5* on trust pilot 🎉

🌎 I’m constantly being referred by my clients

🌎 I’ve successfully mentored 2 new starters

🌎 I’ve met some fantastic colleagues along the way who are now lifelong friends

Where will the next 5 years take me? Who knows, but I’m excited to still be on the journey and I hope that you will continue to be part of it.

The world can at times be a scary place and at times can be difficult to navigate. Travelling shouldn't be a chore or a worry, so that is when you book with me, you have me with you every step of the way!

Whilst to some its nothing to brag about, the crisis' I've been involved in and rescued passengers from (sometimes before they even know about it!) is a long list with company collapses, mother nature, presidential visits, hotel cancellations to name a few. I'm well versed to spring into action when needed!

I'm not a one-hit-wonder, travel is my passion and my only job (aside from Mum!) so you have the assurance that prior to travel, during travel and when you return home, I'm only a call, message or email away. So when I say I am with you every step of the way, I literally am!

September is notoriously one of my busiest departure months, with lots of clients jetting off all over.

About me...

Hello! I’m Zara and I’m located in Whitfield, on the outskirts of Dover. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in the travel industry for 13 years both as a high street agent and in tour operations, they say the industry is like a bug, once you get it, you can’t leave it, its very true.

I have a huge passion for travel and have always had a great deal of excitement when finding that dream holiday for my customers new or old, as your holiday whether it be your 1st, 2nd or 3rd holiday of the year is just as important as the last. I have been extremely lucky in my line of work to travel to some absolutely amazing places, including USA and Alaska, The Caribbean, The Indian Ocean, The Middle East, Cruising, Europe, and my all time favourite, Canada. I’ve travelled both the East and West coast and been on that bucket-list ticking Rocky Mountaineer amongst the awe-inspiring parks and attractions. One of my biggest ‘wow’ moments in my travelling career was flying over Greenland en-route to Alaska and seeing the ice bergs down below, it really did take your breath away.

I pride myself on customer service and the smaller details, which is why in my previous jobs I have been awarded prestigious accolades. Smaller details may include helping follow the footsteps of ancestors in India to arranging a perfect romantic proposal in Santorini. Nothing really is too much trouble.

I’ve had the pleasure of booking my own holidays through Travel Counsellors for the last couple of years including my honeymoon, so I know firsthand what to expect throughout your journey with me. I can’t wait to share the Travel Counsellors App with you!
