Been meaning to put this route on for a long time. Phong Nha to Lien Trach, Cao Quang, Tan Hoa, Da Deo, Cha Noi, and back to Phong Nha. 139km, can be split in 2 with an overnight in Tan Hoa at a homestay or at Tu Lan lodge.

Please support me to keep disadvantaged kids at school.

Just $25 keeps a child at school for a month.

Many of you kindly let me know you are grateful for the opportunity to donate a little each year. To date, over the last 3 annual charity rides, you, my dear friends, have contributed generously.

Roads are for cyclists.

Countryside roads should be tractor free on Sundays to allow cyclists the right to roam and exercise.

Whilst out with our cycle club at the weekend we were harassed by a farmer in his tractor impatiently trying to get past us! No manners at all he was shouting something about us being 4 abreast in the language of "peasant countryside"

No one works on a Sunday so I'm sure the grain in the trailer could have been moved on the Monday to allow everyone to enjoy the fields and scenery in peace!

Farmers just don't respect modern country ways!

Went for a ride with Darren last week.
Started at a great cafe on the river in Co Giang.
The unsurfaced road was mostly pretty bad, but the scenery was great.
