We are 10 days away from our South African vacation and I couldn’t be more excited!

In 2020 we planned an amazing trip with my sister, brother-in-law and parents to celebrate their milestone wedding anniversary. Like so many, our personal travels had to be canceled due to Covid. Fast forward a year and my dad was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently started aggressive treatment in Houston. In 2022 my dad had a big birthday AND received his cancer free diagnosis!

This long awaited adventure feels even sweeter given the twists and turns we’ve been through. So much to celebrate on this trip and can’t wait to be enjoying a KJT client fave, at the end of the month! 🎉 ❤️

Oftentimes when we have clients traveling to celebrate a milestone, or traveling with multiple generations of family members, we like to arrange a photo session to help capture their memories: a mother/ daughter trip to Paris, a holiday in Mexico, a 40th birthday, an engagement, a babymoon, you name it!

I took my own advice for our family trip to Cabo earlier this month. It’s been a while since we had professional family photos so I was excited to schedule a quick beach photo session during our stay . I knew it was worth it when I saw these family photos that we will cherish forever! 🥰

We just checked in for a little delayed holiday family vacation!

Grand Velas is a collection of family owned, luxury all-inclusive resorts with locations in Puerto Vallarta, Cabo and outside of Cancun.

The Cabo property is centrally located with oceanview terraces on each of the 307 suites, and each suite is over 1100 square feet! They have great room options for family suites, adjoining rooms, wellness suites and suites with private plunge pools!

The service here and food are definitely 5 ⭐️ making Grand Velas one of the best all inclusive options in the area. I have been super impressed.

There's no shortage of activities from fun kids and teens clubs to cooking classes and wine tastings for the adults. There are 3 pools: 2 for families and one adults only- each with hot tubs. For younger kids there’s also a splash pad and playground!

When in France … eat the croissants, wear the beret, drink the vin chaud. Santé !

This French town on the border of Germany in the Alsace region is a gem and is rich in history with its Notre Dame Cathedral and charming canals.

In December the city is home to one of the best Christmas Markets on the Rhine with 393 wooden houses across 13 squares in Strasbourg!

Our mother / daughter trip has begun! We made it to Zurich, Switzerland to explore for a few days before going to Basel and embarking on our Rhine River cruise.

We checked into the fabulous and took the hotel’s vintage car shuttle to town to meet our guide for a walking tour of the Old Town. We wandered the streets and sampled local delicacies before stopping for mulled wine at the Christmas market and ending our day with a delicious Italian meal!

Its been a busy week putting the finishing touches on fun Thanksgiving getaways for KJT clients!

This Thankful Season we have families, couples, and friends heading to California, Arizona, Disney World, Bahamas, Mexico, Hawaii, Turks & Caicos (at pictured above from our visit in 2019), London, Scotland, and Switzerland!

Temperatures are finally getting cooler in Texas which means one thing — its time to plan a warm weather getaway :)

St. Barths is one of our favorite Caribbean Islands and a special destination offering French culture, several luxury resorts (for families and adults), fun beach clubs and amazing dining options. This summer we toured all the 5 star accommodations on the island so we can perfectly match clients to their ideal hotel or villa and help plan their time on the island.

One of the best ways to visit is via Puerto Rico connecting to a flight to St. Barths. Alternatively, you can fly to Saint Martin or Anguilla and take a boat or commuter plan to St. Barths — but don’t worry, we can handle those logistics! All you have to do is pack😉

London is calling! 🇬🇧

We have a lot of clients headed across the pond in the coming weeks/ months and more in the works for next summer ! Clients have enjoyed this week and others are checking into soon! We also have families renting spacious and stylish apartments for Thanksgiving, Spring Break and extended stays over the summer.

I blinked and somehow we are one week into November! 🍁

October was a busy month at KJT with clients wrapping up stays in European seaside destinations like Santorini, Crete, Mykonos, Amalfi and Capri. Other clients enjoyed nearby beach trips to , , , , , 🏝

We helped clients celebrate an anniversary in Thailand & Singapore and honeymoons in Italy and Argentina plus romantic getaways to Italy, London, several trips around Portugal, France, Telluride, Scottsdale and more.

October is also an ideal time to visit and in addition to our personal visit, we helped 7 other families experience some of the Disney magic this month!

Its been a whirlwind since we returned from two weeks ago and while there I was trying to enjoy time celebrating our anniversary and spending time with friends. I did get the chance to do a full property tour and wanted to share it in stories (also saving in highlights).

Did anyone else tune into the new on Sunday night?

I’m sure this season will be just as outrageous as the last but I’m most interested in the new locale: Taormina, Sicily.

Sicily is the largest Mediterranean island and offers so much from amazing food, gorgeous scenery, water activities, wine tastings, history and more. Its charming hilltop town, Taormina, is now a not-so-hidden-gem and is a great base for exploring the eastern part of the island and famed Mount Edna.

When I was there last I visited the two sister properties : & (pictured above) which are some of our favorite properties in the area.

This season takes place at the newly opened . This former 14th-century convent is walkable to the middle of town, has incredible views, a clifftop infinity pool, beautiful gardens and fab rooms and suites.

The hotel just opened last summer as a part of the brand and client feedback so far has been 💯

Made it to to celebrate our wedding anniversary and have a fun adult getaway with friends !

After sending so many clients here for family vacations, couples trips and honeymoons since it opened nearly 2 years ago, it was time for me to get down and experience it for myself.

Loving these client photos from on the Amalfi Coast😍 This stunning boutique property had its grand opening earlier this year and features 29 rooms and 16 suites in Amalfi. They are members of and have one of the best beach clubs in the whole region. So gorgeous!

Good news for those looking to plan for next year, they just released rates for summer 2023 ☀️

Who else will be watching Queen Elizabeth’s service tomorrow ? 🇬🇧🙋🏻‍♀️

It was so special to be in London the past week and see all the tributes to her life of service. It wasn’t the original visit to the city we planned but it was certainly one I’ll never forget.

We had the privilege to visit the People’s Church, St. Paul’s Cathedral while we were there and lit a candle for our loved ones and in honor of the queen. We were able to sign her condolences book and felt like we were an active part of history 🙏🏼

Really wish I was waking up to this *incredible* view like my clients at @oomandarina ! You can bet I’d be hitting the snooze button then taking my coffee in bed ! Sharing more videos from their stay in stories. The newest luxury hotel in the Puerto Vallarta area has been a huge hit with KJ travel clients since it opened in November with its treehouse suites and private plunge pool rooms! If you’re looking for a Mexico escape, this could be your answer (and 4th night free available for a limited time + the usually KJT perks!)

Touring the new @cheecalodge casitas adjacent to the main resort and loving these two oceanfront cottages. The Cheeca Casitas opened last year and give guests exclusive use of the casitas tennis courts, private beach and dedicated pool. There are nine 2-bedroom casitas (7 set back from the beach and 2 beachfront with one more debuting next summer), plus one one-bedroom casita. Casita guests also have full use of the Cheeca Lodge resort amenities, pools, spa, kids camp, water sports, etc. and butler service with a dedicated butler per casita. It’s the best of both worlds: private, residential style accommodations with all the resort amenities. Woke up in a winter wonderland ❄️ @blueskyutah @aubergeresorts The girls are loving their first winter mountain vacation. So many new things to see and experience and this incredible resort takes everything to the next level! This is a view of the terrace with the property’s newly opened Alpine Globe taking center stage and the heated infinity pool and hot tub to the left. What word comes to mind? I’m thinking “magical” ✨
