"Welcome, winter. Your late dawns and chilled breath make me lazy, but I love you nonetheless. Blow the winds, like the trumpet blows, but without that noise.

Shaniwarwada (शनिवार वाडा) is a historical fortification in the city of Pune in Maharashtra, India. Built in 1732, it was the great seat of the Peshwas of the Maratha Empire until 1818. Following the rise of the Maratha Empire, the palace became the center of Indian politics in the 18th century.

The fort itself was largely destroyed in 1828 by an unexplained fire, but the surviving structures are now maintained as a tourist site.

While roaming around I saw people working there to maintain the beauty of the place. There is no way to thank you for the hard work you put in each and every day.

Thank you for your dedication to maintaining the beauty of ancient India. You may think that no one notices your hard work, but we do - each and every day. Keep up the great work!

Chandrabhaga River Point Lahul.

The river Chandra is one of the two rivers which merge to form the Chenab (Chandrabhaga) in Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh. It flows on to merge with Bhaga river downstream of Keylong.Bhaga river joins Chandra river in Tandi to form CHANDRABHAGA and later Chenab.

Chandrabhaga is borne out of love. It is said that the daughter of moon 🌝 Chandra and the son of Sun ☀️ fell in love and decided to take a long walk circumambulating the holy mountains of Lahaul. After many a meandering course they fell into a undying embrace in their togetherness at Tandi to give rise to CHANDRABHAGA.

We all have one wish-A Trip to Leh- Ladakh. Check this out 👇

Ladakh is the highest plateau in India with much of it being over 3,000 m (9,800 ft).It extends from the Himalayan to the KunlunRanges and includes the upper Indus River valley.
The Suru and Zanskar valleys form a great trough enclosed by the Himalayas and the Zanskar Range. Rangdum is the highest inhabited region in the Suru valley, after which the valley rises to 4,400 m (14,400 ft) at Pensi-la, the gateway to Zanskar. Kargil, the only town in the Suru valley, is the second most important town in Ladakh. It was an important staging post on the routes of the trade caravans before 1947, being more or less equidistant, at about 230 kilometresfrom Srinagar, Leh, Skardu and Padum. The Zangskar valley lies in the troughs of the Stod and the Lungnak rivers. The region experiences heavy snowfall; the Pensi-la is open only between June and mid-October. Dras and the Mushkoh Valley form the western extremity of Ladakh.

The Leh Palace, which is situated behind the main market has eight stories and is similar to the Potala Palace of Lhasa and still belongs to the royal family of Ladakh. Just ahead of the palace is the Chamba Temple, which is a one roomed shrine that has a large icon of Maitreya, the Buddha to come. Also in the bazaar, at the top of the street, one can see the Jama Masjid. This has been painted in green and white colour. Another place to visit is the Sankar Gompa, which is situated in the city and is one of the oldest structures here. At one time, this monastery only welcomes a maximum of twenty monks.

```_Dalhousie_``` is one of the most famous hill stations of Himachal Pradesh. Sightseeing though, is one of the many ways of keeping yourself busy here.
Those visiting Dalhousie do so to be in the company of nature, and it keeps them company always. It doesn’t matter which part of the town you may be in, the sight of snowcapped peaks of Dhauladhar Range greet you constantly. The clouds embrace the mountains in the distance, while the greenery of the landscape is brought out by the sun’s rays in another. This contrast lightens the mood and cheers you up.
A trip to Dalhousie is largely about sightseeing, because the landscape lends itself perfectly to this activity.
This stretch from Solan to Karol Tibba is a moderately difficult trek with a steep ascend. There will be quite a lot of challenging terrain to be encountered.
Though it is a short day trip yet it provides a lot of thrill to the trekkers along with the mythological significance of this place. Pandava Gufa, found at this place, is considered to be the longest and the oldest cave in the Himalayan region and has close reference to the Mahabharata.
The intriguing stories are sure to keep the trekkers interested all along the way. Besides, lots of deodar trees will also be spotted along the trail.
Karol Tibba trek is suitable for people above 8 years and who are physically fit. Mostly groups of friends and or young people opt for this. Families and couples can also take part in this adventurous experience at Kasauli.
Bhagsunag Fall, Dharamshala
This enchanting waterfall is located about 11 kms from Dharamshala and is easily approachable by road. It is one of the best tourist attractions in Dharamshala and is known for its old temple, a fresh water spring, and slate quarry a waterfall surrounded by stunning cliffs and trees. Tourists can take a dip in the chilly water of this fall and visit the Bhagsunag temple to seek blessing of Lord Shiva. The Bhagsunag Fall falls on the way to Triund, so the tourists can continue with their journey to Triund once they visit this elegant fall. Though, this spectacular waterfall lies a little distance away from the town of Dharamshala, the tourists make sure that they visit this spot, which is also an important place for Hindu pilgrims.
The height of this waterfall is approximately 20 meters and it is an absolute marvel to look at, especially during the monsoon. There is a nice cafeteria next to the fall for tourists to indulge in lip-smacking snacks and drinks that are served with warmth. The Bhagsunag Fall is located only 2 kms from Mcleoganj and can be best visited while on a trek.
As things start getting back to the so-called new normal, travel, especially domestic, will look very different. So, as the roads opened, all I wanted was to be back on them and feel the sense of freedom that I had been missing for long. Road trips are all about that adrenaline rush and when I’m behind the wheel, I feel free. I feel liberated. I feel alive.
