The Golden Eagles Varsity Football Team is headed to the WPIAL Playoffs! 🎉🏈💛🦅🤍🏈🎉

Keystone Oaks will host Apollo-Ridge on Friday. Kickoff is at 7 pm at Dormont Memorial Stadium.

All tickets at the gates will be general admission of $7. Golden Eagle season passes are not valid for WPIAL events.

Sometimes Dormont SKelton likes to start the day off with a sweet treat (don't we all?) and what better place than Dormont's own Potomac Bakery? Those thumbprints look pretty great, SKelton can't remember the last time they had those ... in any sense.

Did you know that Dormont has the city's best dog park? Neither did Dormont SKelton! Back when SKelton and Spotty were alive dogs worked hard in the mines and didn't have time for "play" and "socialization". Anyway, SKelton decided to take ol' Spotty down to check it out and hopefully make some friends.

Dormont SKelton decided to have a mellow day to relax and peruse the City Paper for what else in Dormont is on the 'ol Best Of list. They've hit a couple but there's still lots to cover on and off the list before October ends!

It's a gorgeous day to get out and get some spooky reads at Beyond Bedtime Books*! SKelton made a list of communities with independent bookstores and there was a clear winner...

SKelton thought they would miss Moonstone's, but it turns out Tal & Bert has everything a skeleton could want. The plants, of course, are a tease, but SKelton still managed to snag a basket of goodies and take a cute .

Well this is embarrassing. SKelton's been bragging that Dormont Pool is the best in the city but it's not even OPEN!? Back in SKelton's day (when the pool was just a dammed crick and they all wore proper swimming frocks) you could swim straight through til November!

SKelton doesn't usually like to venture over to Lebo (they think their bones are better than ours🙄) but couldn't pass up the offer of a free massage at Pittsburgh Massage Therapy and Wellness after all their work at the Dormont Community Garden. Shoutout to KO resident Brenda for soothing these weary bones.
