The Freedom-Fest & Fireworks at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda is a nonstop entertainment for the entire family. This year features a group of 12 giant waterslides, as well as vendors, displays, shopping, festival food, beverages, and live music! This event is about 50 minutes from our Cape Coral property, Waters' Edge Retreat that still has availability in June.
If you'll be staying with us in North Captiva for the 4th of July, the North Captiva Barge Company has a 4th of July celebration. There will be a BBQ followed by a golf cart parade and of course fireworks! Since no private fireworks are allowed on the island, this will be the best event to see them.

Yoga Lab will be having a rooftop party at Mercato in Naples celebrating their 10th Anniversary on May 17 at 6:30 pm. Experience a breathtaking yoga session led by Michael Schaeffer with stunning city views. This event is close to our Marco Island properties, including Pelican's Perch which still has availability in May.
Just a golf cart ride away from our North Captiva properties is the Island Club Member Pool where they offer seashell painting for Tuesdays in May from 2-4 pm. Bring any shells you'd like to paint (Atlantic clam shells work best), and they'll supply the rest!
If you're going to be staying at the Water's Edge Retreat in Cape Coral, which is still available for the end of the month, go to the 2024 Cape Coral comedy festival at 7 pm! Enjoy a live comedy show outdoors with a showcase of comedians doing their best short sets.
