Keeping a change of clothes in your carry-on can help prevent problems in the event of a delay or disconnection. On a recent trip to Ireland, because of weather in the connecting airport, we missed our flight and were stuck in Philly for a full 24 hours. Thankfully, I always keep a spare set of clothes in my carry-on, so it wasn’t the best situation, but at least I wasn’t stuck wearing the same clothes for 36 to 48 hours. Remember always to carry an extra set of clothes, all medications, any valuables, travel documents, and anything you cannot live without for 24 hours in your carry-on! #traveltip

Visiting and learning about Blarney Castle and its history was insightful and beautiful. The gardens were my favorite part! Definitely worth the visit, even if you don’t climb the castle to kiss the Blarney Stone. #ireland #blarneystone #blarneycastle #irelandtravel
Walking through the gardens at Blarney Castle and hearing the bagpiper play was really neat! The waterfall and winding walkways were just gorgeous.

I recently returned from Barcelo Maya Grand in the Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort complex made up of 6 different sister properties, each with their own distinct vibe!
The entire property is situated along a beach, and it's roughly a 30 minute walk from one end of the property to another. Thankfully, there is a lobby bus that runs a continuous loop from one end to the other to get you to those dinner reservations without looking all sweaty!

Many Walt Disney World resorts have been receiving some stunning refurbishments recently. My favorite just might be what we've seen over at the Polynesian Village Resort. The precious Moana touches are relevant and understated, and I love the earth tones.
