I am a lover of all things Disney. 🏰 I was able to take my family on their first Disney trip this past February and I know I got them hooked. We love to sing, dance, and watch all the Disney movies, and getting to see the characters and rides in person were a dream come

Walt Disney World Resort is back with their beautiful holiday displays. The talented culinarians display of confectionaries throughout the resorts, showcase characters, colors, and use of edible items in unique ways.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort are all joining in on the egg-travaganza with offerings for guests to enjoy.

It's Global Belly Laugh Day. When's the last time you belly laughed?

At Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, there is an attraction called Monsters, Inc Laugh Floor. Participate in a hilarious, gag-tastic interactive comedy show—starring Monsters, Inc. and company! There's even an interactive component to the show where you could text your favorite joke to Mike himself.

It’s National Make your dreams come true day!

Here’s me, during the race weekend 2023. This was MY dream come true. I crossed that line with my dad, and all the emotions flooded in. I was upright, I was smiling, and I had ran that entire course.

Today, it has been over a week since the , and I am still living for all of the race pictures taken by friends. From the 5k to adjusted half marathon to completion of the D***y, you all persevered and ran with your hearts. Way to make your dreams come true.

Race weekend dates for 2024-2025 season is OUT! If you have ever wanted to run there or Disneyland, let me know. It is an experience of a life time.

: I do it for me.

Growing up, I was a pretty outgoing kid who wasn't afraid of making friends with the random kid at the playground. I talked to everyone, adults and kids alike. I, apparently, even chased chickens and caught them without the fear of getting pecked at. (You won't see me doing that now).

Some how, during this life time, I grew up, and with it, grew my fears of the world. Anxiety, depression, and fear of failure almost crippled me, at times, and I didn't know how to manage it. When it had been time to choose for my future outside of high school, I had a choice of staying in state or going to the culinary school of my dreams. I could choose safe or I could choose passion.

Something inside of me pushed me to leave Indiana. My parents were divided in this situation, but they still supported me and my higher education. Going to college in a different state was one of the hardest things I had ever done. I cried the first night I was left in my college dorm, but I had to make a choice: sit in my room or go out there and make the most out of this experience. This propelled me. God gave me the strength to believe in myself and push towards the experience I wanted out of my career. With it, I got to travel with my classmates, go to Costa Rica, work at Disney World, work at Augusta National Golf Course, work in Saratoga Springs, NY, and now, teach culinary to students in WV. I chose the experiences, despite the fears, and I don't regret one second of it. Oh, and a little bonus: I met the love of my life at that college. That is how IN crosses with WV in NC.

If you ever had the feeling of going somewhere but fear was holding you back, this is your sign to book the trip. You are the only you in the world and there is no comparison. Let you enjoy the life to it's fullest.

: New sites
Going with yesterday's topic, I have loved getting to see new sites and places. What's even better is having memories of these places and, as an adult now, going back and re-exploring the locations. Couple of years ago, I solo traveled to Washington DC. I had not been there since my 8th grade trip in Middle School, and boy, things looked different than what I remembered. It was beautiful, it was lovely, and I can't wait to take my kids there and see how it has changed again.
Whether you have been to a place 100 times or it's your first time, traveling is a great way to see what the world as to offer.

: Nature/ Exploration
I hate to admit it, but it took me a while to love the outdoors. Listen... I am the person who starts itching the moment I step outside. Mosquitos love me and the getting grimy and dirty is just not my cup of tea.
But, then I went to Costa Rica during a Summer Study Abroad trip during my Senior year of Culinary School and it was life changing. I got dirty and stinky and tired. But, I was taught so much, spent time with cool people, and immersed myself in the rainforest.
I want to continue to explore, and if it means I need to get down and dirty, that's fine. Mosquitos still love me, and I may have to take allergy pills, but being in nature is so much better than cooping up inside the house.

Yes... I know the picture isn't the greatest of qualities, but you get the picture.

: I do it for these two.
One of the biggest lessons my mom instilled in me is to give your kids more than you had. My parents set the bar pretty darn high for me to reach over, but that just means they gave me the solid foundation I needed to get more fulfilment out of life. Seeing the joys on their faces when they sat on that life size RC at the All-Star Movies, or shaking Buzz Lightyear's hands at Hollywood Studios will always be a fond memory of mine. And, I hope to teach them that, there is magic in the world if we continue to work hard, be kind, and be generous in what we do. Vacation isn't just about the reward of a new place, but the experiences we get to share with each other. I hope I can help you feel that experience.

I know I post a lot about the things going on around the Disney company or other vacation possibilities, but what does that truly matter to you? Why should you listen to me when there are so many other people who do what I am doing. (I mean, I am a newbie).
So, for the next few days, I am going to give you a fun fact about me and share why I am doing this, and how I can help you plan your next dream vacation. I want to be transparent with you, and hopefully give you confidence in knowing that I have your best interested at heart.

: I love memories. Does that sound weird? Maybe. But, memories can be made in grand locations or in your own living room. And lately, I love the memories I am making with my family. This picture is of a moment during our beach trip this past summer. Of course, I wanted to do the instagram picture and get the heart. If you watch the whole video of me taking this picture, it doesn't capture the chaos of how it went, but, we all found a second to smile together and just let the picture be. Few seconds later, a foot got in the hole and the heart caved in, but all I remember now are the giggles and how the kiddos helped me dig it up. If I can help you and your family/friends make your memories, my job will be fulfilled.

It's National Good Neighbor Day!

As Mr. Rogers once said "All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we're giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That's one of the things that connects us as neighbors--in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver."

there are neighboring hotels around Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts that offer value, comfort and quality, just as if you were on a Disney resort? These are called Good Neighbor Hotels. You can purchase park tickets as part of your hotel stay AND some hotels offer transportations to the parks. One of the most notable good neighbor hotel for WDW is the Swan and Dolphin Resort. Although owned and operated outside of the Walt Disney company, this hotel is centrally located in WDW and has many amenities and perks that rivals other WDW resorts.
