🚨 Attention Sparwood Residents 🚨
TONIGHT - starting at 5:00 pm
You will see an increased presence of first responders going door to door. They are collecting food and monetary donations for the Sparwood Food Bank.
PLEASE, PLEASE slow down and watch for our first responders during this event, they are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, brothers and sisters of our local families.

BE SAFE
You can leave your donations on the front step for collection and if you miss their appearance you can always donate at the Sparwood food bank.

Thanks for reading and keeping our first responders safe tonight.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day filled with love and laughter surrounded by the ones you love. It’s a warmer day today, and raining so far this morning which means the roads will be sloppy and wet, and the areas that don’t see sun might be extra icy. Give yourself lots of time to travel, carry extra washer fluid and drive safe.

Attention Family Day Travelers, Avalanche Control Closure Tomorrow!

Parks Canada advises they will be conducting avalanche control in Glacier National Park on Saturday Feb 19, 2022. TCH #1 Revelstoke to Golden closure will be in effect between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm PT. No detour will be available.

Always check DriveBC before you go.
