Enjoy the charm of a Cornish cottage this December! 🏡✨ We have a vacancy aligning perfectly with Lostwithiel’s enchanting Dickensian Evening on Thursday, December 7th. Immerse yourself in a traditional Christmas atmosphere from 6pm, complete with stilt walkers, Victorian characters, and festive tunes echoing through the town. 🎄🎶

Enjoy late-night shopping until 9pm, where shopkeepers don period outfits, and explore unique stalls offering vintage goods, crafts, and delectable food and drink across the town and in Fore Street. Take in the sights with street foods like a hog roast paired with mulled wine or cider.

Don’t miss the magical Advent Window Trail and the glow of illuminated Christmas trees. Experience live music at the open museum and St Bartholomew’s Church. After the event, continue the festivities in local pubs. 🍻

Dress in Victorian attire to fully embrace the Dickensian spirit, and consider arriving early or using public transport to avoid parking issues. Make the holiday season truly unforgettable! 🌟

Organised by Lostwithiel Rotary Club, carnival week is 6 days of merriment and sport taking place from the 30th July to the 1st August in it’s one of Cornwall's best little carnivals.
