Kindly plant any of the following trees at your house/parks/roads etc, it will cost less than Rs 200. Our country is highly affected by environmental changes, resulting in abnormally hot weather, heat waves and reduction in rain.
Below are some environment friendly trees and do not require any additional care and also are not expensive. Request your family members, friends, neighbors, colleagues, relatives and your children to plant trees as much as you can.
If every Pakistani plants one tree we can plant 20 crore trees per year.

The Headquarter of Mountaineers
Central Shimshal Village - Shimshal Valley, Pakistan
A Valley that was not accessible by road till 2003. In very recent past. The locals used to travel on foot for 3 days just to reach Passu. They decided to help their own selves, took the initiative and the result was the miraculous creation of road connection with KKH. All built with personal efforts of Shimshalis. From Gilgit, one can follow KKH towards Khunjrab Pass. After crossing Atabad Lake and Passu, an off-road jeep track leads to Shimshal Valley. The initial parts of the valley are very narrow and then it opens up after crossing Malungutti Glacier in front of Dasteghil Sar Peak 7885 m. Road travel time is around 3-4 hours from Passu to Shimshal.
The main Shimshal area is divided into three small villages connected to each other.
This night shot was taken in Central Shimshal. When I reached Shimshal, it was wheat harvest season so i got chance to document a very unique view of this area. Clear night sky with wheat harvest. 🙂

Chitta Katha Lake.
Chitta Katha Lake, located in Shounter Valley, Azad Kashmir, at an elevation of 13,500 feet, is the type of lake you have to pinch yourself to believe you’re really staring at it. The unique colour of lake's water changes from emerald green to turquoise blue, depending on the season and the daylight.
It’s a glacier-fed lake that is so gorgeous & breathtakingly beautiful. Another thing that makes the lake so special is the glacier-capped steep rocky mountains in the backdrop.
Chitta Katha Lake, isn’t easy to see, as it’s about a 20 km jeep track from Kel to Upper Domail & than (5.1 km) 8 to 10 hours arduous hike, but it’s gorgeous and completely worth it. The lake is accessible from July to September, but if you go in August, you’ll catch the amazing abundance of wildflowers during the hike.
